i actually just traded in my protege on tuesday for the lancer ralliart. i have no complaints about the car, it's awesome! i test drove both the 3 and RA. the 3 was great as well, but there was just something about the RA that stuck with me, so that's what i ended up with.

i don't have any pics at the moment, but i have the alpine cva-1004 screen and the audiovox avd300 dvd player, which also plays mp3's and cd's. i also have my ps2 hooked up to that. i'll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow.

well, i figured it out. get a switch, hook one end to ground and the other end to the e-brake wire from the alpine cva-1004. that's it. thanks for the help!! (2thumbs)

hmmm, that sounds easy enough. i'll try that in a little while. thanks 1st mp3. the only other thing i could find was some sort of adapter thing that pacific accessory corporation sells for it. it's the pac tr-7. have any of you heard about it? if not, here's the address...

actually i installed it myself. it wouldn't let me into the setup unless it was connected that way. it sux. i don't plan on watching videos while i drive. it's more for my fiance when we travel and stuff. it would be nice to see the screen when i have a cd in or when i'm playing mp3's. i...

i have the alpine cva-1004. the only way to watch a video or play playstation is to step on the brake, release the e-brake, then engage the e-brake and release the foot brake, or something like that. is there any way around this? someone at circuit city said theres an adapter i could buy, but...

nah, i think i'm gonna stick with white. i've already painted some of the interior peices white and i really don't wanna go back and change those :)

thanx markspark. i've actually thought about painting them black, but i wasn't sure how they would look. i probably will, but i have to wait for warmer weather before i do that though.
