i actually just traded in my protege on tuesday for the lancer ralliart. i have no complaints about the car, it's awesome! i test drove both the 3 and RA. the 3 was great as well, but there was just something about the RA that stuck with me, so that's what i ended up with.

i don't have any pics at the moment, but i have the alpine cva-1004 screen and the audiovox avd300 dvd player, which also plays mp3's and cd's. i also have my ps2 hooked up to that. i'll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow.

well, i figured it out. get a switch, hook one end to ground and the other end to the e-brake wire from the alpine cva-1004. that's it. thanks for the help!! (2thumbs)

actually i installed it myself. it wouldn't let me into the setup unless it was connected that way. it sux. i don't plan on watching videos while i drive. it's more for my fiance when we travel and stuff. it would be nice to see the screen when i have a cd in or when i'm playing mp3's. i...

i have the alpine cva-1004. the only way to watch a video or play playstation is to step on the brake, release the e-brake, then engage the e-brake and release the foot brake, or something like that. is there any way around this? someone at circuit city said theres an adapter i could buy, but...

thanx markspark. i've actually thought about painting them black, but i wasn't sure how they would look. i probably will, but i have to wait for warmer weather before i do that though.

well, unfortunately she lives on campus. it's only 10 minutes from my house, but it still sucks. she's over here enough that you could say she lives with me :) i don't know what i would do without her.

i'd love to have the p5 headlights, but i'd hate to fool with the wiring, you know. i guess i would though, cuz i like them better than ones i have now....that amber just doesn't do it for me.

basically. i work full time and she works about 12 hours a week at the boys and girls club (in the ghetto). it's work study so she gets paid pretty well. she's a psych major with a concentration in social services, that's why she's at the ghetto boys and girls club.

we're going to wait until she's finished with school. she's a second semester junior now and then she's going to grad school, so like 2 and a half to 3 years. it's a long time, but it gives us plenty of time to start saving and stuff.
