Damn, you are easily upset! Did the auto wiper function really tweek you enough to come on an internet forum and rant? I feel sorry for your SO, if you even have one.

Unfortunately this hack does not work once the dealer upgraded me to version 59. Wish there was an equivalent hack for that version!

I have a 2016.5 with the OEM factory remote start.
If I start the car remotely (with the remote start fob) with the doors locked, they remain locked. I am able to unlock them with the button on the exterior door handle when I walk up to the car. No need to use the key in the key fob.
Or maybe have the dealer swap out the vent with a black one from another model as described in: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y9ejo4brm922clb/1116%20Ventilator%20Grill%20Garnish%20reflected%20on%20Front%20Door%20Window%20Glass.pdf?dl=0
I assume you are talking about the hood switch kit, which is just a small switch that attaches to the hood latch and has a long 2-wire harness that runs to the underhood fuse panel. It's not a bypass module.
Are you sure about that? I have the Advanced Keyless Entry System and the OEM Remote Engine Start. The fob for the RES will not let me lock or unlock the car. I have to use one of the AKES fobs to lock/unlock it.
That feature is called Walk Away Lock. Autolock is when the doors lock when you start driving; you can choose between taking trans. out of park and when driving.
