5W-30 makes the engine quieter and more refined, it's a must.
I recently sold my CX-5 (need a cargo van) but before I did switched back to the 17s for a few months (flat tire from a damn broken razor blade on one of the 16s) before selling the Enkeis separately. I notice a big improvement in ride going to 30 psi on the 17s. Handling is fine.
I can tell you it works great. It sits much higher than the center console and gives your arm a surface to rest on. If you don't like it, Amazon has free returns.

Not that Mazda cares what I think, but I think Mazda should have continued to offer the CX-9, which was still selling thousands of units a month in the U.S. It fits size wise between the CX-5 and larger CX-90 and could be sold at a more affordable price in the mid 30s.
