I'll have to check on the timing belt. But the previous owner just got a full tune-up (spark plugs, plug wires and coils), new motor mounts, new tires, brakes & rotors, etc done at the Mazda dealership prior to the sale. I literally have a book of records though - but I'll check.

This is going to be my daughter's college car, but I thoroughly enjoyed the 2+ hour drive back home. Fully loaded, single owner, no accidents with complete maintenance records. Car has 116K miles, and there were absolutely no rattles or shakes to be heard. Very impressed with the build quality!

Well, it's been a little while since any of us updated this thread... Got my first contingency award (ever!) in the mail about 2 weeks ago for my 3rd place finish at the Dixie NT. $150 in Kumho bucks which will go towards buying additional tires for the MSP. Hopefully things will go well for...

As an update, the next national events on our schedule are: Atlanta NT (May 7-8th) Delaware NT (June 4-5th) We have a number of local DC events coming up in the interim, and we'll be sure to post pics & video afterwards.

Agreed. IMHO it's not worth changing the FSB until we have the better shocks on the car. Only wheelspin issues I had all weekend was coming out of the tight turn-around.
