Should note, I just took a look at the bolt layout and you cant bolt this up to a speed3 with the shroud in place since the covers are held down in different places. You may want to note this to people, just an FYI.

I did that to my spare stock airbox, took the whole bottom half off except for the area where the filter sits. Am using the mount where the rubber hold is and the side sliding mount plus an extra little one I fabbed. The whole bottom is open to the stock filter. Results? Works like a charm...

Just used my lunch break and swapped the stock plugs back in. I took a look at all the hoses and clamps and everything is tight. Without even resetting the map, the AFR's are much more stable than before. There is no knock, the car pulls much smoother and the coilpacks fit down snugly all the...

I checked the plugs and they are DEFINATELY a bit shorter than the stock ones. My eyes work just fine holding them side by side. The plugs also are definately ITV22's, i checked the plugs themselves. I will likely try the coil stretch mod and see how that pans out.

Whether or not that is the case, I can see easily on the AP that its better when there is more contact. Maybe we need some longer spark plug terminals for a better connection to the coil pack. I am not keen on the idea of stretching that coilpack wire.

I think the length actually may be a problem. I checked the coil packs and that spring is only half way through the pack. Therefore if the plug isnt far enough up there its not going to make good contact. A lot of SRT-4 guys have mentioned this as an issue with using the Denso's without...
