Thanks for your input. I turned the vehicle around to face the door, got as close as I could, pressed the outside two buttons to clear my multiple previous attempts,performed the instructions again, and it worked the first time. hope this helps

Brand new CX9 GT owner [380 miles] and the Home Link has defeated my attempts to program the Genie Intelligent garage door opener. My mirror model # ends in 4,so I'm supposed to use the first set of instructions[I think]??? I have tried this at least 25 times to no avail. Open for suggestions...
