Thanks everyone. I'll probably open up the driver's seat and add padding to the lumbar bar. For the passenger seat, I think I'll open it up and see what there is to work with. I'll report back if I find anything interesting.

2016.5 CX-5 GT AWD Driver's seat lumbar support is adequate, but sure wish the passenger seat had some lumbar support as well. Anyone modified the manual seat to add lumbar support? Any ideas? (scratch)

Looks like an 8mm hex from my googling. My CX-5 only has 75 miles, so I haven't needed to get under it yet :)
