not exactly true. I have a maddog sts with an 80% throw reduction, along with rod brakes. a shifter that has rod brakes will make metal on metal noises, but that's how it's supposed to sound. just an fyi, glad to hear you are happy with your shifter.

this is for many reasons. the first being that when you tank is low, your fuel pump has to work much harder to maintain fuel pressure, which causes the pump to run hot, which in turn significantly reduces it's lifespan. as far as running on 87 crap gas, that's just stupid.(screwy) as it's been...
