I notice a lag sometimes with ours...if you don't come to a complete stop and go from the brake to the gas, it will jerk on occasion. I don't know if this is the same thing or not but that's what I have experienced.

Sounds to me like that dealer is full of crap! We just had one installed on ours on Saturday to try and fix another issue we were having....He's probably trying to put it on special order and charge you a mark up...I would go somewhere else.

The Nissan dealership gave us a 60 day powertrain warranty which would not cover the throttle body. We were well outside the 30 day / 1000 mile too...my wife drives quite a bit around town. Right now, to us, half is better than nothing. Maybe when we take the bill to them for reimbursement...

I have heard people classify this noise as "piston slap"...I had this same noise on an older Grand Am I had a while back...only happened in the morning but gradually went away as it warmed up. I don't think there should be any worry IMO
