    Trailer Hitch for Speed6

Damn I missed you by a few days. I ordered mine and had a friend do the install over the Thanksgiving break. He took a bunch of photos of the install. It was not a simple process: http://picasaweb.google.com/joelfehrman/MS6HitchInstall# The last few photos show the bike rack installed on...

    Opinion on brake pads

For your application I would recommend Axxis Ultimates (http://www.axxisbrakes.com/ult.html). They will serve you well in all weather conditions and are relatively good about noise and dust for a performance pad. I was very disappointed in Hawk HPS compared to the Carbotech offerings, and I...

    Trailer Hitch for Speed6

Same exact train of thought for me. Which stand-up rack are you using? I am looking at the Yakima HoldUp, the 1UpUSA, and the Raxter models. I'm wondering about your clearance from the bumper with the hitch so far under the car, as well as ground clearance issues pulling out of steeper...

Same issue here. Looking for the least painful starting point to fab up if anyone has more info to share.

    Boost cut, why bother?

My understanding is that the OEM fuel pump is a two-stage design with high and low voltage triggers. When you replace it does it cause other issues in the engine mapping? Also, is the common fuel pump upgrade the Walbro 255 that most every other car uses?

    Wheel/Tire fitment help

Given that the RE-01R is so wide for it's nominal rating (i.e. their 195s stack higher than Falken Azenis 205s) I chickened out and went with 235s. Mounted on 17x8 Enkei GTC-01 (ET48) I have room to spare. I think 245s are possible when I order my next set of tires, but the 235 RE-01Rs are...

    Wheel/Tire fitment help

I still need to take measurements. My fiance has been driving the car lately since her car is in the shop (and she's not allowed to drive my STi). Once I have it back I'll measure things up. I was going to look at the clearance from the OEM tire to the suspension and plan to use all of that...

MS6 with RPM Street Lowering Springs

Given the spring rate changes and the fact that there is more rake with the new springs, have you noticed a change to the car's balance? I would think that understeer would be reduced significantly. BTW, I ordered this spring package with the adjustable ball joints this afternoon :)

    Speed 6 AWD system

The 04-05 STi could send up to 65% of the power rearward. The 06-07 got a new center diff that max out at 59% rearward distribution. I think the Lamborghini system sends 80% of it's torque rearward until slip occurs. That is the most radical system I am aware of, but Lambo was interested in...

    Wheel/Tire fitment help

Thanks for the link. I'm going to take measurements myself as info seems to be all over the place. Many 235s are just as wide as 245s, so I'm looking at measured section widths mounted on 8" wide wheels. I was the first guy to fit 245s on a 2002 WRX, which everyone told me couldn't be done...
