Found it!! The cams was off by a tooth on both intake and exhaust. She is up and running now!! All is well!(breakn)

Hi fellow mazda owners. I have a problem with my 02 p5. My friend and I were changing the timing belt ( valve cover has leaks and car has 102k) today. After all was double checked and followed alldata for proper installation procedures car wont hold an idle now! Made sure all the timing was...

I had to to aim it down 1/4 to 1/2 a turn on the screwdriver i used on the adjustment thing, weird thing its still a little bit higher than my low beams which is high to begin with!

some pics. ;ow beams are 35w 4500k, fogs are 35w 3000k with no yellow fog film thing. last pic is just the low beams with no fogs.

That worked!! just reversed the polarity and (yippy)! thanks!!

azuelke, i hooked up the fogs with the wires properly, (black to black and red to red). thats why it does not fire up, so if i reverse the connections..... weird thing, the fuse in the engine compartment for the fogs did not blow.... hope this works thanks!!

HI. Has anybody done a auto to manual tranny swap? I am thinking about doing this in the near future. I know i need a manual trans, clutch, pedal cable.. will i need a sensor of some kind?? any thoughts would be good(hear ya)

I have a 02 P5 with auto tranny and 2nd gen probe swirlies (which is heavier than our stock wheels) cant remember how much gas i had but without any ppl in it its ~2600lbs. hope that helps
