Radar dector + tech package.....

Has anyone tried to use a radar detector with the tech package? I am wondering if there may be any conflict with, say, the cruise control or any other radar-related function when using a radar detector.

Also, is the only way to turn off the radio sound, muting it? There is no "Off" button that I can find.

I'm not sure abut the radar detector interference, but for your other question, muting it is your current option. I also don't see a way to turn it off without just switching to another audio mode, like AUX.

No, I believe that just mutes the sound.
