Thanks, I didn't see that loose on the hood and there is also no lack of power. I was thinking the bypass valve as well but I thought you would only happen when shifting like a blowoff valve.
I just noticed this the other day as my wife is the primary driver of our 2016 CX-9 Grand touring. It only happens in the morning after first several heavy accelerations. There is a air sucking sound when hitting the gas hard and goes away when let off. Seems to go away once the car has warmed...
I ending up ordering the two rubber strips (Part# tk4850m15 and tk4850m25) as they were sold separately than the appliques. I was able to just pull on the old rubber strip which is held in with 3m tape and then replace it with the new rubber strips.
I had one as a loaner this past week. Had the same issue, I placed it to charge for 2 hours and only got 5 miles on the battery. Also the acceleration was horrible when the battery was not charged.

On my 2016 CX-9. I start the car the normal method. Get out and take the emergency key out of the keyfob. Insert it in the drivers side handle and turn to lock. Leave the car warming up then come back. Insert the key in the drivers door handle and unlock.
Here is a PDF that I found for both dealers and owners. The Owner one looks just like the one I received in the mail. It does say US owners, doesn't say anything about Canada.

Just picked up the tires from tirerack and had them installed this weekend. Put 600 miles on them already and love how quiet they are and the handling.
I am thinking of getting the Pirelli's as well after going through two sets of Conti DWS06 that have only lasted 30,000 for me as well. How are the AS Plus 3's holding up?
