US Diesel's big splash introduction

Looks good to me X, sounds pretty damn good too..combine that with 2.5g smashing fe and range they won't have trouble selling these here at least to me!

Hopefully it’s just a few days. They have had some torrential rains all over Japan.

About the only thing about the diesel that's splashing at all. RAV4 gonna come out first with their Hybrid and unless some idiot wants it to tow his ski boat "because", it's going to be a flop. I mean, if it is ever anything.
 
Well that and the fact that it won't have a CVT that I loathe in just about every application I've sampled...including but slightly less so in the ascent but it had enough things going for it that it vaulted to the top of the list for our Highlander's replacement in a year or so.
 
With Fall only a few months out, I wonder if we'll officially end up 1 year behind schedule on the debut of a North American Diesel.

~2 months out diesels on lots for sale? Stings but thats pretty easy... over full stack. I will however bet brotha unob that it will beat his new rav4 hybrid to our market...and be better to drive and smoke it (why not?)in terms of real world hwy fe which should only widen as speeds increase but it should be an interesting comparo!

"Better to drive"...? That's too subjective for a bet.

As far as highway fuel economy...according to who? The EPA? Motortrend's 75mph cycle? Owner forums? Fuelly?

Now, "beat to market in North America..." THERE is a very easily quantifiable event. What would you like to bet?
 
The "beat the hybrid to our market" was the wager..how bout loser changes their 247 screen name/sig to whatever the winner decides(clean and within reason) for x length of time..? We on like d-kong?

Yep. I'm on for that.

-The signature/sn must pass community standards for profanity, vulgarity, etc.
-The length of time is until the winner is tired of looking at it and OK's the change back to whatever the loser desires.

Whichever goes on sale and can physically be purchased at a dealership in The United States of America, not counting territories, etc. only lower 48, first.
