What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Awesome brakes!
Quick one, will the mazdaspeed calipers/disks fit on the CX5?

These are only for the front right? These days, when there is a brake distribution system on modern cars, there is a point in getting something only for the front?

Good question. I'm not sure about the calipers but the rotors that come with the BBK are bigger than the speed rotors I think. I know they are 12mm larger than the stock CX-5 rotors.

Yeah they are only the front. Honestly the only reason I bought them was because I needed brakes and rotors done on all 4 on the car so I figured I would go all out plus with added bonuses of the CorkSport BBK. I think the rears are perfectly fine no need to make better calipers for them. Unless your going extremely hard on the track which I dont think any CX-5 is doing right now.

Today installed 5000k LED fogs. Not sure about the lumen output, will confirm tonight. Looks wise are great, performance wise I have serious doubts.

Test fit of the CorkSport Big Brake Kit. Looks good. They are now getting powdercoated along with the rears. Will post an update when they come back.

Once my car is back in service and I know the motor is running fine, that will be my next big buy (well after tie rod end).

Tinted my windows, fronts: 30%, windshield: crystalline 3M 70% and the moon roof: crystalline 3M 40%

Added some protection to my door sills. I had been contemplate which metal plate style to get, but in the end decided I didn't want a big shiny piece of metal to ruin the dark look of my interior (plus the metal would show scratches very easily). So, I went with a nice looking decal set I found on ebay.

Also gave the car a nice wash, applied 303 Aerospace all throughout the interior. I also applied Mother Back to Black on the exterior plastic bits, and then added a coating of 303 Aerospace for added protection. Definitely brings the rich black color back!!

Additionally, since I'm an Aussie expat, I added a small decal to the side-window of the Southern Cross, and also got customized license plates. The new California 1960s retro plate style really matches the Titanium Flash!

NICE
That looks really clean and simple. Can you post a link to the sills?
I want something like this for the rear bumper instead of all the chrome and stainless thats currently on the market.

Here is the link to the item: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Style-door-sill-protectors-Mazda-CX-5-Carbon-Film-/282073053648?hash=item41acdd39d0:g:YAoAAOSw~OdVcvFn

Here's a link to the sellers CX5 items, a couple of bumper options there: http://stores.ebay.com/rotopshop/?_dmd=1&_nkw=cx5&rmvSB=true

To protect my bumper, I installed the soft cargo cover (and then place the hard cargo cover over it). I always pull out the extra flap of the soft cargo cover so that it completely covers the bumper as I am loading/unloading things. I guess a clear vinyl film wouldn't hurt for that one day I forget to pull out the soft cargo liner flap.

Yesterday, OEM Mazda Hood Deflector, Morimoto XB LED Dual-Lens Foglight assemblies and 2016 OEM Mazda Foglight covers. Had to modify the mounting brackets to get the Morimoto Fogs to fight just right. Nothing my handy dandy cordless Dremel tool couldn't fix in a few minutes!

Next on the list is to install my Beatrush lower tie bars (front and rear).

Installed the IMPEX headrests. Much better view with these. I like them.
Same time, I have recorder for the forum, a short video with the sub in the spare wheel and the view with the headrests.
The phone recording it's crappy, but you get the idea, on how it sounds.
I have a Kenwood DNN991HD and the volume is set to 33(35 is the max.). Infinity Primus components front/rear, 2 x Polk Audio amps. Front door is opened only.

It is the original, just purchased it through IMPEX. They are a bit weird, to deal with. They don't send you any Emails, just messages via there website. You have to create a package and then you find out the shipping cost($39.xx for CA).

Nice. I can only imagine seeing you in your trick cx5 l... from soviet tanks to hood rap blasting lol

I gave my '16 Black Touring FWD her first hand wash, followed up with a coat of Nu Finish liquid. I learned my Mazda had been on the road for a year before I got her (in Texas), and noticed when washing her that there was no beading. This was my first experience with Nu Finish; I'm impressed! Took just over an hour to do the entire exterior. (Yes, I needed a step stool to get to the roof.)

Washed and waxed my cx5 yesterday, today I'm detailing the interior. Finished waxing just as the sun was about to take over the driveway.

Washed with Meguiars Ultimate wash, waxed with Meguiars Ultimate wax. Very easy to use, comes off plastic if you accidentally get some on. Was all out of tire shine. Didn't get a very good picture.

Swapped back to the RB muffler after our trip. It was nice having it so quiet for the long freeway stints. While I was under there, I took measurements for the rear sway end links (compared to my stepson's stocker), determined what length I needed to match up with the angle the stock bar has, then ordered some longer links from RockAuto. With the Corksport bar at a better angle I shouldn't have to worry about the bar moving whenever I jack up the car and then hitting the rear axle. If they work as planned I'll post the info for anyone else who has had this problem.

I've never heard of any RB exhaust being offensively loud. They pride themselves on a nice mellow sound and the CX-5 exhaust is reportedly just that. I'm surprised you felt a need to remove it for a long trip.
