Hi guys...just installed an aftermarket autometer water temp gauge and everything is working fine minus the illumination portion of the gauge. I hooked up the bulb (blk to ground and white to power switch @ the dimmer switch and tapped into the white/blue wire coming off the dimmer switch.
The issue i am having now is that it works but...i need to lower my dash lights in order for the water gauge to light up and when i turn up the dimmer to turn up the dash lights switch the water temp gauge light shuts off. Seems like its crossed or versed.
Can someone please help me out here?....The are only three wires coming off the dimmer switch that i can tap into..(1. blk 2. white/blue 3. green/blk)
Did i tap into the wrong wire?
