Thinking of buying a CX5 ... Sport

I'm currently thinking about buying a CX5 Sport ... I want a stick, but I would also like leather too .. which is not an option ...

Have others switched out the seat covers on the sport for leather?

What about the radio?

I own a 2015 Sport. I think the radio is fine for my needs. I have commented elsewhere that I think the FM antenna, where ever it is, could be improved. I thought it was in that shark thing but someone said it was in the rear glass. I would prefer a whip antenna.

Many have bought the sport model with the katzkin leather upholstery and usually from the dealer for reasonable cost.

I have a manual sport version. It doesn't bother me that the seat is not leather, but it would be great to have a leather wrapped steering wheel...

I agree with you about the stick, but maybe drive the auto 2.5 The power difference is a bit noticeable.

No doubt, but the "involvement" would be missing.

While not 100% the same, the auto's manual mode can be very similar to driving a stick, except with no clutch pedal. Or "H" gated pattern (drive2)

after driving my girlfriend's lexus...i ran back to my stick shift cx-5 telling her I'll never do it again.

Get some katzkins with heated seats, nav unit, install heated mirrors from the write up, install some morimoto HID's.

That said, I think it sucks that I don't have an arm-rest in the back, afs, or the advanced keyless entry, no awd.. worst more..no sunroof. All things to consider.
