The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Missed all the Mazda fun :( Did do the Fantasy Football draft and hung out with some Meeps...Sho, your team sucks! (nana)

Did however get a lot accomplished this weekend. New carpet was installed in the living room, stairs and upstairs hallway. The Nursery is almost ready, need to build the dresser/changing table and hang a couple things up. Amber had some friends over to make ready to go freezer meals for when the baby comes. They even wrote directions on them for me. It was also a surprise baby shower that I helped out with so now we have baby stuff and a ton of food.

Today was Kennedy's kinda first day of pre-school. It was with all the parents too. Tomorrow she'll get dropped off at the door and is on her own. Pretty crazy.

Yeah, Nate. I was drafting from my phone and it seems every time I had someone in Que, the person before me got em. Oh well

We were having some connection issues at Evan #3's house. Yeah it sucks when you're ready to pick a guy and the person before takes them.

Also went to Cars & Coffee, got to ride in my friends STI....I miss boost and about 100hp :( But I did get lots of compliments even with a dirty car

I love the look of those, God I wish they would release another wagon here in the states.
Me too. If they brought it over with the current gen I would've got that instead. Even w/ the gas engine and an automatic if that was the only option.

Stupid U.S. Consumer "needing" SUV's. The have less room, handle poorly, are usually slower and worse MPG.
Has anyone here used POR-15 to patch large-ish holes in metal?
I think Mark said he used it after patching holes.
Who else is ready for this messed up week to be over with? I certainly am.

I feel like this week is just beginning

Will be back @ Mid-Ohio with the PCA instructing. Jamie and another student with a P5, who I know personally!

Is it too much to ask for a diesel manual wagon? I guess if we are dreaming might as well throw all wheel drive and maybe a small turbo and make it the perfect car.

If it's a diesel you'll want the turbo no matter what. Everyone keeps saying they want a diesel. They're only really an advantage if you do a lot of highway driving. If you drive short distances every day it won't even warm up.

Random post is random. Anyone want my old couch? My parents gave me their leather one so I'm ballin now. The center cushion does have a cigerette burn on one side (not by me) but everything else is good to go. Doesn't stink, no one was murdered on it, it's not infested with parasites. Just want it out of the house and don't have room in the garage. Donations accepted but price is free fifty.

If you're going for MPG's. I would prefer the diesel for the extra torques.

Damn ask me again in a year, we could always use a couch for our apartment/house, but I have nowhere to put it now
