What did you pay for your CX-5?

I'm in the Philly area and the lowest price I've been quoted is $29,619 plus tax & tags for a 2015 GT AWD with Tech. I wish I could get someone to go $2500 under MSRP, but I keep striking out.

There seems to be an additional $500 rebate available this weekend too. I don't know if it's a Mazda nationwide deal or individual dealers, but 3 out of 4 I've checked out have it starting tomorrow and ending on 5/31.

If you find the dealer has topped out on price see if they can through in like cargo tray and net.

That's a good idea!

I'm going back and forth with one dealer now on price. I'm trying to get him to match a quote I got elsewhere for $29,207. The dealer that quoted it doesn't have the color I want in stock (Blue Reflex). This other dealer does, but we're about $500 apart. We're about a dozen emails in on this negotiation. Waiting on one last response before I "walk away."

Finally heard back from the dealer. They're going to match the other place and give me a 2015 CX-5 GT AWD w/ Tech for $29,207 plus tax/tags. I'll also be getting $500 owner loyalty, $500 Memorial Day rebate and $750 Mazda Lease incentive. Total= $27,457 plus tax/tags.
Next battle will for for my trade in...

I got the dealer down to $26,300.00 before TTL for a 2015 Touring AWD with Moonroof/Bose package.. do you guys think that's a good price, or should I try for a little less?

Congrats! Good deal there. I'm in the Philly area too and after going back and forth with several dealerships the best I've been able to find is about $1700 under MSRP. Would you mind saying who you're working with (privately if you prefer)?

Glock you did real good. Damn I wish I waited a week to take advantage of the Memorial Day rebate. Oh well, what did they say about timing?

I had a dealer price match an internet quote on a Red 2015 GT with Tech package for $28,841 plus TTL. I had an upside down trade which he came up $500 more than other dealers but still $500 less than carmax. I knew it was a pretty good deal so I took the offer. I tried to get him to throw in the Cargo cover but he wouldn't budge and said they were already well below invoice and are losing on the deal; which I doubt they will in the end! I bought a cargo cover on ebay for $143 total.

Trying to get the 2015 Touring in White. One dealer knocked off $1793 off MSRP and once I told that to the others they stopped responding. Trying to get $2250 off MSRP. You guys think the discount of $1739 is good enough of keep waiting till they drop it more?

Thanks! Check your PMs.

Thanks! It's not over yet. I still have to negotiate my trade, but I don't foresee the deal going south at this point.

I guess timing really is everything... I would've bought it anyway if he matched the price, but the extra rebate is icing on the cake.

There appears to be an extra $500 Memorial Day Rebate this weekend. Has that been offered to you or included in any of the quotes. I believe it starts today.

Well, I spoke too soon. Drove over an hour to the dealership only to have the manager destroy the deal with an insultingly low offer on my trade in. $3000 lower than any other dealer!!! I had evidence of the other appraisals, as well as the Edmunds and KBB worksheets, but he'd only come up another $800.

Told him what I thought of his offer, grabbed my keys and paperwork an walked out. I really thought this was all gonna work out. The salesman was great, but his boss was just a douche.

Glock I am sorry to hear about this. Don't get discouraged. You will get the most money for your car if you sell it yourself, even though it is a hassle sometime. I went to a local Mazda dealership just to see and drive a new CX-5. I usually don't advocate this but the dealer really wanted to see if we could deal with me. So he started to work on the numbers on my car and the price of the Mazda. I knew exactly what my Porsche was worth on the retail market but I know he would only give auction pricing. Long story short, there was about a $3000 delta and I was not going to eat that. I placed my Cayman S in the classifieds on the forum I frequented and sold it two days later for above retail. I now have $5000 in my pocket after paying for the CX-5. Is there a way you could finance the CX-5 first and then sell your present car privately?

They called me today and told me that if I go around to other dealers and a dealer beats their $1739 off MSRP they will give me an additional $500 gas gift card to buy from them. Is the gift card the current Memorial day special? She made it sound like it was. I don't call them, I just say "I could be doing all that leg work but whats the point? Give it to me for $2250 off MSRP and lets both save time. I'm not in a hurry and will go around to other brand lots to see their 0% APR deals this weekend. I don't need the car now but if you give me the price I want, I'll be there today to get the car. I got the "Let me see what I can do" again. They call me every other day to keep in touch about the deal but I just tell them the same thing and don't call them. I'm not in a hurry because next month there may be .9% apr for 60 months on the 2015 instead of the current 36 months. My old corolla still drives strong but I'm 30 years old and single. It just doesn't fit me.

Mtvon2, where did you buy your cx-5? Which dealer?
My first CX-5 purchase was at Ron Tonkin. They unfortunately put a couple of scratches on the rear deck lid while preparing the car. I rejected the car and ended up buying at Gladstone Mazda.

I got mine at Ron Tonkin. Liked the price but crap, the finance guy did a very hard sell to get me to buy an aftermarket warranty. With all the time wasted then, I didn't have time to get a steak at Saylor's.

Just picked up my 2015 CX-5 Grand Touring AWD Blue Reflex Mica w/Tech Package and Remote Start
$32,050 MSRP
$30,551 retail price (Consumer Reports Buying Service)
-750 Mazda loyalty discount
-500 Memorial Day discount
$29,301 not including TTL

Absolutely no mention of extended warranty or GAP "opportunity". Simply sign and drive.

How are you guys getting $500 off Memorial day? Mazda site says $250 off. I talked with the dealer more today and they are holding onto $1750 off touring 2015 + $250 Memorial day. $2000 off a $25,995 MSRP.
