CX-5 Photos - Share your shots with us!

Hey Guys,

I just picked up my Black Mica CX-5 GT AWD w/ Tech on Tuesday. Love the car so far. Are you guys doing anything to protect the hood and front bumper of the car from stone chips, etc...?

Just curious...

Shot of mine are coming soon too.

I got mine wrapped to prevent this!

Finally I got some pictures up of my Sports Manual W/ Upgraded 19's, Lowered on H&R Springs , Debadge, black out M-logo & Trims, Removed Roof Rails, and Added Hood Deflector. :)

Note the neighbor's CR-V next door. She says she likes my color better.

Brochures don't do this color justice.

I like that blue. I've also seen a couple of CRVs in the new blue.

Manufacture date of 04/14 so yes, it has the new style outside mirror with the front-facing LED slit. The old style mirror has 2 LEDs on the outside edge. New one has a single LED which faces the front and another for the side. There is a fresnel lens which faces to the rear. Produces a very distinguishable flashing for the cars in your blind spot. Not visible to the driver.

You can see the neighbor's blue CRV next door. She says hers is more purplish but likes my color better.

Nice! Do you have the AWD version? Where is that in SoCal?

This picture in out in the Borrego Badlands past the Five Palms oasis.
No AWD. Having only two drive wheels made things pretty exciting, but never caused any real issues.
We drove the little CX-5 close to 50 miles in desert washes that weekend and handled it great.

Here is my CX-5 with a hood defector and a sunroof deflector from a 2013 Sonata which fits perfectly. I ordered interior door sills since they seem to get foot prints on them and a cushioned center console armrest. I also put black PVC trim around the doors to help protect it from door dings but it didn't work as some horrible person (child?) threw open their passenger door and put a deep gash in right rear passenger door. Unfortunately I can't protect it from everything but for goodness sake its only 3 weeks old and already has a ding and a small chip on the windshield!

help how do i post pictures?

Best to use a free image service like www.imgur.com (simple, no ads) or www.photobucket.com (good options, but ads and pictures don't display up to full size on webpages)
these are nice because you can post the picture directly to the page, make albums, make them private etc etc... they even have pre set selections where you just copy and paste the code that you need e.g the proper code to post a picture on a forum like so..

Just in case someone is tempting: they're sturdy aluminum, includes good ss bolts and nuts plus some self drilling bolts for dead pedal.

You will have to drill the brake pedal for bolt spacing or:

like me if you don't mind to have the brake pedal 1/2" higher than before...

You can just remove rubber pedal cover drill and bolt aluminum pedal to the rubber piece

Fight your way into putting back the rubber pedal W/ alu pedal attatched

Make sure you secured and over lapped all sides of rubber pedal around the pedal plate and test it heavily before your first drive.

Those looks familiar! I just received my set yesterday and will put them in later today if I get the chance. I got mine off Amazon for $33, I think. It took about 2 weeks from China. Any other tips on your install?
