The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I drove the 555 with Ohio Miata Owners (FB group) last year. It is a fun road. Just don't do any donuts in gravel church parking lots!

84,000 miles. It has a lot of upgrades (ETS 3.25" TMIC, Cobb AP, Koni shocks w/RPM springs to name a few). Thinking around $12,000, if anyone thinks I'm out of my mind let me know.

I'm out of the country for a couple of weeks, when I get back I need to clean the intake valves and do a few other things (like installing HPFP internals) before letting it go.
 
emissions recall done, now gotta wait for them to order 2 rear wheel bearings on the 7. I did notice a dominate clunking sound coming from the front end when braking. I think i have a bad front sway bar endlinks too. I might just have to swap those out myself & save some time.......
 
That sounds like a good price, Chief. You shouldn't have any trouble selling it (depending on how much rust there is) for that price.
 
$12K is an awesome price compared to what I was finding a couple months ago.
 
Damn. I would have bought that over the Fiat. Oh well, no regrets. I'm liking the mileage I'm getting. Good luck with the sale chief!
 
Well, I just purchased a PTZ IP camera that accepts a SD card for local storage, and has cloud controls/alerts. If I like this one and it works well after testing, I may have to get a few of them.
 
It sounds like MS6's have held their value better than MS3's. Correct?
 
Seems like they do now, at least the unmolested ones. Back when I was looking at them, it wasn't really the case.



Question for the lot of you hip cats. Are we planning to get lunch after Cars & Coffee? If so, any plan made? If no plan, I can set up the gathering at Johnny Malloy's that I've been thinking about lately. Appreciate your input for those going.

Not if you look at KBB or NADA. The prices they show are ridiculous. In any event, it's only a good price if I can sell it for that.

Well the KBB/NADA prices for Miatas are way off too.
 
Peaches and Dave are planning on wrenching at my house so I don't think we'll make it to the lunch meet on Sunday, Phen. :(
