just got home from a long weekend down in charlotte. went to see the north american handmade bike show and see some friends. lots of big money in bikes there, found my next ride for sure.

also paid a visit to bethania garage and got me a roll bar :)

Please wish Mary a Happy Bday from us! How long do you plan on being in St. Augustine or on the East Coast? I may be down that way by the end of this week or early next week if all goes well. :D

Bruce, pass along my Birthday Wishes to Mary! Hope to see you guys @ LRP!!!

Thanks All. Jeff, we will be in St Augustine till Thursday, then Savannah GA till Sunday then Myrtle Beach for 3 weeks and then heading home.

What are you doing down here? And where will you be?

What's happening folks?

Counting down the days till LRP! Can't wait to see everyone again during our favorite weekend. Looks like we're going to have quite a few of newbies coming out to the event. NEMOC is gonna have to show them how it's done!

Hey Phen, missed seeing you in Sebring. Saw your car though.

Who is going to Watkins Glen??

Spending another day in St Augustine and then tomorrow move to Savannah GA.

Yeah... I really wish I had gone to Sebring, especially after the Bristol race was a constant rain shower until we left. It wasn't the most enjoyable trip I've been on.

I'll be at the Glen for sure. I'll be bringing the Abarth to LRP (I'm pretty sure). Thankfully it's small and we can hide it easily. Haha.

The Glen and Mosport sold be good! We are going to be working with Mazda Canada and see how many members we can get to come out and cross the border have fun in the Greater Toronto Area. We'll have a flyer for Watkins up soon!

Also, when ordering tickets for LRP, if you are camping, we have 10 DESIGNATED "MAZDA ONLY CAMPSITES" RESERVED

Ordered my tickets and Mazda camping pass today! That makes only 9 camping spots left! Book yours now! We will likely be arriving Friday evening so save room for the REPU and camper!

Actually, 8 Chris! If we run out in a timely manner, I will be able to 5 more, if needed. Let me know if you need anything else!

I just got my confirmation email. The 10 spots (or 8 left according to you and also confirmed via the Limerock website) are actually within the camping area. My email says section 3, site 264 which is one of the 10 spots highlighted in blue on their reservation map.

To put that into perspective, here is a full map of the grounds with the corral highlighted as well as the spots we used last year and the reserved area this year.

Wow, where was that picture posted Chris? I think I see Josh's VR RX8 parked in front of the tent!

I'm pretty sure it isn't a Grand Am event because I don't ever remember the cars parked on the skid pad blocking Mazda corral. Also, B paddock is filled with cars, not race team trailers and A paddock is pretty sparse with trailers also.

That happens on race day of the big boys. They always loaded up the skid pad for the Rolex series races. Conti series days were low volume.

The last year I was there they filled up the skid pad with a corral of one of the makes. I forget which. That wasn't the one in the picture though, since they don't have the alternate uphill track configuration even built.

Now that I took a closer look at it, any Rolex race would have had a lot more haulers in the paddock area, aside from the parking in the "Conti Grass Paddock." Can't deny the resemblance to how our corrals usually look tho.

Good point, the paddock is too light for Rolex. However, there is a bundle of Koni-yellow trucks in the main paddock area, which would fit with the track configuration pictured.
