Where did u get that EM (Extreme Machine) manifold and downpipe? Also where did u get the Mitsu turbo?
 
Sorry if this is a repeat question....have done a dyno to see what kinda numbers you are producing? If so could you please post the results for me and everyone else.
 
I didn't run it on a dyno yet. I only did some run with a G-Tech. I got 190whp, a 1/4 mile time of 14.6 at 101mph and a 6.4 sec for the 0-60mhp run. If we consider a drivetrain lost of approximately 15%, that give me around 220hp at the crank.

The 1/4 run was done with a smooth start. With hot tire and more agressive start, it can be better than that. But I want to keep my tire for autocross race.

Thats a good run Stou, 14.6 this is at 8psi right. Still no timing being retarded huh, and still no detination, I would say that is a real good run. How hard was the car to launch? Was there a lot of spinning of the tires.(argh) I hate that, or wheel hop.

I have gotten rid of my wheel hop so far with the awr motor mounts. I hope it stays that way when I put the turbo on.

Yes, it's at 8psi, no timing change and no detonation. Like we already discuss on another post, there's already a knock sensor on our cars.

The car is not realy hard to start. You only have to control the spinning. Since I have much more power than a stock MP3, I got spinning instead of wheel hop. Since my car is turbo, I don't get wheel hop..... but more spinning! :D

If you start normaly on 1rst gear and then suddenly put your foot on the floor, it start spinning like hell I love that!!! :D :D :D

I hope you're not talking about from idle in first? that would be sick...or do you mean a smooth start till like 3500 then kick it :)
that's all i'm gonna be doing when I get mine lol
 
What I mean is you start normaly from a stop, and than, when you run around 3000 - 3500 rpm, you just put your foot on the floor and it start spinning! :D
 
Strange.... I had more wheel hop before I installed the turbo!

Maybe that depend on the condition of the engine mount?
 
Do you think that the Mazdaspeed LSD will fit our cars. I think that there is a good chance. Because the inly change that I am seeing with the Mazda speed and the MP3 other than the obvious things, Is the LSD, and I think they lowered the compression to 9:1. Do not quote me on that.
 
The compression on all the FS-DE engines are ALL 9.1:1. Some of the changes that the Mazdaspeed carry are:

Increased diameter drive shaft
LSD
Stiffer Suspension
Lower Profile

I am not sure if the LSD will fit. Anyone out there know?

There's a guy at a few hour from where I live who can make custom LSD. I know someone who suppose to get his car done in a few weeks. As soon as I got some news on that I'll keep you informed.
 
REAAAAAALLLLLLY old thread i know. I was looking for info bout Extreme Machine ... im bringing my car to their shop in about a week for a custom fmic+cai kit.

Anybody dealt with them in the past ?

Hit up supa saiyan pr5, he has stou's old kit and he is selling it. Pick it up from him and you wont have to worry about spending as much as you would at the shop. Just a thought.

i dont want the turbo ... im just getting a custom FMIC kit. they'll provide the core and im getting the pipes done somewhere else
