Hi Davey, it's a 175bhp AWD and will collect it as soon as the extras have arrived and are fitted and the registration with my plate is done. But I'm in no rush as I'm overseas just now. And I'm going to be looking at getting some protective film pro-fitted to the leading edges too.

The chrome wheels sound great, so be sure to post a pic of them on your car when the sun finally comes out.

I've not thought about any mods just yet but will trawl the mazdasphere for inspiration. But if you think or try something that pleases you, post it here please.

Well I didn't really get any extras as I got the GT. I do have a rear cargo cover which I don't think is a regular option.

Extras are LEDs, front & rear bash plates, rear bumper plate, boot protector. Three year service pack and 3yr p&l warranty included in the price. I asked after roof rails but none to be had. I'll see what I can find out on US spec rails though.There was a white CX with safety pack available but that was another 700 quid. So I'll spend that getting protection film fitted to the leading edges / panels.

I just got an email from my dealer confirming that we have had the facelift model ordered and not the current model which I believe means we get the updated interior and the latest infotainment system! That has pleased me no end! Its being built as we speak apparently!!!!

Im actually waiting for the dealer to confirm this but he mentions "all the facelifts" in his email so Im expecting several!

Some research I have done suggests some interior changes and also the inclusion of the infotainment system from the new Mazda 3!

Anyone got any concrete info on any of this?! Might start a thread and see if anyone knows! I have asked the dealer but not had a reply! He did actually say they had no news on an infotainment upgrade so I could have been reading nonsense or speculation online earlier today.

I would like to see the new interior before buying, myself.
Not really impressed with the Mazda 3 pop up look of the nav, but the 7" screen would suite me. Along with the clock on the screen, and phone signal and battery status.
And a USB with resume would also put a smile on my face.
Led head lights and a digital radio would be a bonus.

I also think the memory seat will be added

I hope they include an electronic boot and bonnet! That would be decent! Along with a better quality gear lever and hand brake leather gaiter interior wise as both seem a but cheap on the current model. Also like the idea of the 7 inch display with updated infotainment system. The display upgrades you describe sound really good.

If it has LED Headlights and I have paid for LED DRL's will I end up paying for nothing as they will include the DRL in the updated light clusters? If so I will request a refund on that.

Our dealer told us Mazda are not investing in DAB Radio's for the UK market as everyone just uses their phone!

I wonder when all this info on the new model will surface!

I was aware that there was a facelift on the horizon, I'd heard speculation on the Nav but also that engine capacity would be increased? Possibly to 2.5?

I'll ping my dealer see what I can ascertain.

A DAB radio would be a nice to have for sure as would a bigger screen but not too fussed.

I doubt that LED heads will be a standard fit even on Sport Nav as they are extras with most other makes but again a deffo nice to have.

I never thought of using my phone to listen to DAB.

Our dealer told us Mazda are not investing in DAB Radio's for the UK market as everyone just uses their phone!

Yeah its so easy, just get a suitable app (of which there are several) and all the main ones are selected through that and roberts your mothers brother!!!

Alternatively if you have a fave station you listen to all the time just get their app and use that!

Yeah pls do mate, very keen to hear any info you come across! I may phone the Cambridge dealer I first used who couldnt match the discounts I'd been quoted before I bought from Donald's in Peterborough (awesome dealer!) as they will be keen to make a sale (even though it will never happen!!) and maybe a bit more free with the information!

If I had to speculate, I would expect the ieloop system to be added, a revised infotainment system ( but not necessarily a bigger screen), new armrest al la Mazda6 with rear vents, some minor bits of chrome and perhaps some extra safety kit as standard to overmatch the new crv and Rav4. Maybe we get the 2.5 petrol auto?

Just organising the first service, so I'm not looking to swap just yet!(hump)
