2014 Mazda3 Accessories are here!

Has anyone purchased (or at seen in person) the cargo rug for the hatchback? I want to protect what's back there and would prefer a carpet style rather than the rubber mat. But I want the carpet to have a rubber backing to help keep moisture/grime from getting through. I figure it might even help with road noise a tiny bit.
So far Lloyds is the only company I see listing '14 mats. No logo and twice the price.

I have the mazda carpeted mat for the hatch area, it was like $60 or something. I prefer the carpet over the rubber ones too.

I went the third route, the cargo liner since it protects the seat backs and even folds out over the bumper if you have hang something out the back.

While not as nice looking as the cargo tray or mat, it is light and protects more of the car than the other two.

How rugged is that thing? Does it contain or absorb liquids? One thing I liked about the tray is that it should just contain any spills without absorbing them, and the lip on the tray should keep them from getting all over the place. Like from groceries or a garbage bag or something. But one thing I DON'T like is that it doesn't extend to cover the seat backs in any way should I need to carry something large....

It feels like it will stand up to a lot of abuse, but it would likely absorb liquids. I got it to protect from dirty cargo like bags of mulch or potting soil. Other than cost there isn't anything preventing you from having both installed.

Probably the cheapest place to get the accessories: http://www.mazdaparts.org/20ma3acandpa.html
and they're even a sponsor! I was going to add the cargo tray, window visors and splash guards to the car when I got it, but may just wait and order them from MCM since it would sve me a bunch.

I was going to get my accessories from them too but my dealer gave 20% new car discount on accessories so ended up being slightly cheaper. So far I only got the window visors (very good btw), carpet cargo mat and the windshield sunscreen. Was going to get splash guards but they are not body color so I'm not sure how the black splash guards will look on white =/

The splash guards match the plastic part of the bumper and they are small. If they were body color imagine how dirty they will look, especially in white.

I added the following accessories over this weekend:
1. Cargo carpet
2. Cargo net/hook
3. Door sills
4. Rear bumper guard
5. front/rear splash guard
6. Wheel lock
7. All-weather mats (front/tear)
All bought from mazdaparts.org. I have dealt with them since I bought my CX9 in 2008. Great seller. They are a Mazda dealer.

Good point, I'll probably get a set later down the road. Lots of splash dirt marks on my car in that area haha

Did you install the splash guards yourself? If so, was it hard?

I installed my own on a different vehicle, but I've read the M3 instructions and they are virtually identical to what I had to do. They are easy.

Not hard at all.
You do need a short screw driver for the rear ones, or other proper tool for the tight space.
For the front, you can turn the wheels.
Mazda accessories come with clear manuals.

Cool, I'll do it myself when I get it. I was looking at the installation pdf and didn't look that hard. Dealer wants over $100 bucks to install the splash guards LOL f that

Btw, can you take a pic of the whole car to see how they look? :D
