Except they won't really talk to you in person if you aren't associated with a paying account on MSF, and they really scoff at those who do things differently, or aren't badged Mazdaspeed

ms6 is rare and I rarely see a dbag in one.
ms3s are the ones giving us bad rep. I stopped paying attention to most ms3 because it's no longer "hit or miss" on the driver's personality - it's more like 1 out of 10 is Possibly a decent person.
Plates-wise, I hate explaining what mine means to every effin person and it's pretty damn simple. ugh. Next plate is going to be something most everyone can understand.
If you want to put a "slow" into your plate - get a slow car and be done with it.
If you hate that your car has power and not awd, get a friggin awd car - there are plenty of them out there.

Now, since most of you are my friends and all of you I'm cool with, don't take anything previously stated as direct offense. It's more of an observation.
Agreed. Most of the speed research comes from that forum and my hat's off to everyone who puts time and effort into helping us break our cars.
Over where? I meant in general. Even on here. "Oh look at me, I have the most badass car in the world. I paid $25k for this amazing piece of machinery that can't be beat, no how, no way." bulls***. Don't get me wrong, the MS3, MS6, MSM, MSP are all great cars for what they are. A freaking quick and nimble compact (ish) hatch, a sporty, relatively powerful take on an already fun to drive sedan, a hairdresser's drop top with enough power for the average grandfather to put it into a ditch, and one of THE first big moves by a Japanese car company to take an established model and improve it in every way (except the engine itself). But let's face it, no matter how much any of us want to boast about our cars, there's always going to be something better. We've all dumped a good chunk of change into our cars because we love them. Some are quicker than others. Some handle better than others. Some look better than others. At the end of the day, there's always going to be something quicker, faster, better handling, and looking nicer that what we have, and sometimes they don't cost much more that what we've invested. The car scene these days is unfortunately full of a bunch of pretentious snot-nosed s**** with a superiority complex who have no grasp on reality. To take it one step further, those that get butthurt when relity smacks them in the face are even worse. It's an absolute shame what it's come to.
I'm sure everyone here can agree with me when I say that we are ridiculously lucky that we have such a good group of level headed folks here who are able to enjoy our cars and (in my case) enjoy hanging out with the people we've met even more.
I don't in any way deny that much of the research for the platform is done over there; however, that doesn't entitle them to have a God complex over those not factory boosted.
Oh for sure. I mean, the knowledge for ANY car, when it's present is impressive. But generally, it's not the knowledgable folks that are the problem. Know what I mean?

I've gotten so tired of the "list your mods" game at meets whenever someone asks me about the MS6 I just say it's stock. Don't get me wrong, I love my car. Or else I wouldn't mod it and dump a bunch of money into it. I just don't play the e-penis/ego games online or at meets.

i met the biggest doucher to drive a mazdaspeed before and he was in a ms6. and just because there are jokes on license plates like FWD FTL does not mean i hate the car and would rather have awd. its just to be funny, guy.
thats not a bigger dick contest, if they are asking for your mods, they just wanna know what you have done to it. if/when i ask, its to show appreciation.

funny you mentioned that. After about 3 years of owning the car, I stopped "poppin the hood" and just walked away to look at other cars.
I don't even remember all the crap that's been done to it so trying to recollect it for someone else is just painful.
