The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I don't think there is any way to screw it up. I found a Meguiars tutorial on youtube and just did it like they did. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Use lots of lube. twss.

For those that have used a clay bar. How many times can it be used before it should be replaced.

I used my first bar until it was no longer the original color no matter how many times I reshaped it.

I will just bring my car to you. Hahaha.

Seriously though it is no big deal. I was worried too, but that was before I watched the vid. He was working on a black pick-up. He used all sorts of motions even circles and it left no swirl marks at all.

Clay bar doesn't have to be used more than once a year, so you can throw it away when you're done. If the paint is properly cleaned and sealed, the next few months should hold up well. After that, stripping wax and re-applying new one is all you need.

I clay, and polish my entire car once a year. The front of the car gets clayed more often because I use the clay to get tire marks or stubborn bugs off.

Any guesses on whether or not the Kodo design is going to carry over to the 3 and 2? More aggressive looking instead of smiley would be cool...

I need to replace the rsb end links on my 2012 mazda5 and the only brand I'm finding are tru-point engineerings at $100 for what appears to be way above street needs. Any other options or suggestions from 3 owners?

Nice^

There's a dead p5 at columbus pick-n-pull and a 98+ 626 with a standard transmission. The engine's got oil leaking like mad out of the valve cover, and the timing belt looks like it tried to escape, but i feel like that p5 wants that KL

After reading your post I think I kind of remember a dream I had last night. All I remember is I bought Evan's KL and put it in something. But no idea what. Lol. So random.

well the 900 deal fell through he said he had to pay for some bills then maybe down the road he will have it. So I bought another dr-31 wheel from discount tire in the same specs that I have and I'm going to have it powdercoated to match the other wheels and mounted up. sooo an extra 200 I didn't want to spend. I was on the verge of ordering new wheels and tires too. I might just order the DWS anyway since they are on sale and you get a $100 adidas gift card with it because of fast 6. Don't wear adidas but I'm sure I could find something

Good morning! How was everyone's holiday weekend? I haven't been on here since last Tuesday, took vacation days and today is my first day back. It sucks, I wanted to call in sick and just not work LOL. I can't believe how many pages there are to read in the 1 week I haven't been on here. I think I'll read them if I get bored. So I was hoping to work on my car while on vacation...that plan failed LOL. I ended up working a side job to make some extra money and didn't get a chance to install the FMIC :( I did install a Belkin Bluetooth audio adapter I bought on Amazon LOL. That took all of 30 seconds to install, tough install!!! HAHA

Busy car weekend for me. Did a little autocrossing Saturday and Sunday.

And Monday, I installed front and rear sway bars on the STi, changed the oil, and installed some switchback LED turn signal bulbs. (So much for not modding it until I was "done" with the Miata.)
