So Everyone has a build thread so I figured I would start one of mine own to track my progress.
First I have had a mazda protege prior to this car that i customized but do to events out of my control it got totaled on Dec 23rd of 2011
R.I.P

I bought my car the following Tuesday

After the accident Which is Dec 27th with 24,000 miles
She is a 2010 Mazda 3sport 6spd 5door in graphite mica.

Mod Bug Kicked back in right away.
Jan 2012 Got the Tail lights tinted and Painted the badges Black

wasnt enough to fill the gap of the car i had which was all customized to what i have now which is pretty much stock
So..
Feb 2012 I bought 35 wat hids for the low beams in 6000k and 3000k fog lights,Laminx Yellow Fog Overlays, James Barone Racing Adjustable rear sway bar, and road magnet 1.25 lowering springs.

Not sure whats next but stay tuned
I am hoping for rims right away then ill have to hold off a bit beacuse we have to move in the next month or so . then the modding will begin again

Just a thought...what u think of doing that smoke tint to the silver part around fog lights? Ne body else agree or no?

So I am updating this post as my plans have changed. I wasnt going to mod my car that much but as many of you the mod bug is hard to ignore.
So I have done a few small things to the car in the last year including
Tinted Tail Lights
Yellow Fogs
Hids in the headlights and Foglights
Road Magnet 1.25 drop springs
JBR Adjustable Rear Sway Bar

Now Currently Waiting install in my garage I have a set of Tenzo DC-5 18 inch rims and a Mazdaspeed 3 Oem Wing
My car was side swiped by some old lady while i was parked a few months ago and i have been waiting to gather my parts to have everything painted at once to save on cost.
I have decided on a few other mods that i plan to do in the not so distant future depending on how quickly i can gather all the funds.
Below I am going to post a list of coming soon mods and i will mark them off as i get them done.
I am open to suggestions on which i should do first.
I am thinking about taking the tail light tint off and putting on red taillight overlays and painting the rims i got that are black with a red lip a deep red color. Opinions?

It is not quite if thats what u are wondering . but it has a nice deep tone. doesnt sound like a mazda 3 at all. but when i get on it it sounds amazing .

so i have done a few things from my last post on this thread so i figured i would post them up and keep this thread going.

First i got the mz replica front and rear lip installed and some how i woke up a week later to a broken front lip so i will be buying another one soon.



Next I tinted my side view mirror turn signals to match my tails and i vinyl wrapped those red rear reflectors , installed some 18 tenzo dc-5 which are temporary till i get either mb battles or xxr 527's

Here is when i was going to the tire shop to have it all installed. 4 18 inch tires and 4 rims snug in the back

Next i finally installed the James Barone Racing Aluminum Shifter Bushings and Short Shift Plate with the help of my buddy shown in the picture. It was a little more complicated then i thought by looking at the directions lol but it wasnt to bad. awesome turn out tho, love the stiffer shifting and shortend distance between gears






The next day my VG SharkFin Antenna Arrived so i installed that as well.
Great Product www.visualgarage.com came paint match to my car which made it super easy and it arrived one week to the day i ordered it








Thats about it for now, i have a few other things planned shortly. I am hoping to have my car in the shop for some minor paint fixes and also getting my speed 3 wing painted and installed in the next two weeks.

to buy them they were like 180-190 to buy them and 200 for install
