The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

So if my steering wheel has a light shake at low speeds taking off and stopping could this be the rotors?

If it was just stopping, then yeah. But at low speeds and leaving a stop, probably not. Check the wheel bearings to be safe. Could be an axle starting to go out.

Agree,

Today heading out to get the windows tinted on the MS3 and taking Lauri's 6 to get an alignment.......hopefully the weather will continue to improve so we can get the cars out of Winter Mode. Will also have to wash the cars too. Happy Easter everybody!!!

I finally broke down and ordered a rear spoiler this week. It should show up monday or tuesday. I'm a bit nervous to drill into the factory paint, but it'll be nice once it's done.

Anyone interested in going on a cruise today, it's supposed to be 60 degrees. Jess, are you getting the Miata on the road today?

I just found out that Summit Racing does price matching online. Got an awesome deal on some Konig Feathers for the Miata. Going to pick them up now.

New wheels on the Miata, Miata wheels on the Protege. Winter wheels in storage.

Are you going to lower the Miata soon? Awww, my old P5... I saw Jessie this morning by 77 and Mull exit.

Sorry for the late reply Anthony I worked on the Smart most of the day. Changing spark plugs on that thing is a pain. As for the Miata the wiring needs done before I can start it, and it's not done. The exhaust is 80% done back to the diff, working on the "mufflers" tomorrow.

No offense, but damn these photos look a bit photo-chopped.... Either that, or just bad photos and bad fitment....

Not photo shopped.good photos and good fitment. It's called stock suspension and offset. Rare to see these days i know.the tires on the protege are a little smaller than stock at 185 60 14 versus 185 65 14.

Eh... they don't really drop that much. Of course, anything larger than 15's on an NA look REALLY big on the car for some reason. However, if you were to lower it, I've been greatly happy with the springs I have on my car.

^ looks like a lowered Miata when you have people sitting in it. That's how it's driven, who cares what it looks like when its just sitting there doing nothing. I like the cushiness of the stock suspension. I had a lowered Miata before and it was a lot more harsh. This Miata is just a cruising car to take out on nice days.

I went with 16's because I already had a set of tires for them and summit had the wheels in stock. I have 2 cars with 16s now and I like the stiffer sidewall you get over a 15. Also these wheels look larger than they are because the spokes go all the way to the outside of the rim.
