The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Soooo, I don't get it. So are club members allowed to hang out with other clubs? I never really understood the point of clubs... That's why I like "Team Ohio". It's just a group of friends and all are invited, even though it's not really a "club".

Sounds like a lot of drama goes on in car clubs then, eh?

yes they were seperate clubs only cause one was primarily for 6's, one was primarily for 3's... but the groups had events and meets together...
the issues were with the person/people running the 3's group... not so much anything between the 2 clubs

Team Ohio is a club the same way C6C was. No real difference. There was no "leader " tho that naturally defaults to Marlon...

Was the Cleveland6Club in that group as well?

We were separate. Steve wanted to join the two but we saw bulls*** from a mile away. Joined in on events but that's it

No, we did hangout wth them because of Jess and Sam but we were not true members.

What they said. I think we only did the one "mountain fury" meet in Pitt with them, oh and a drive through the Christmas Lights at Blossom, but that was the extent that WE hung with them. It WAS because of Jess & Sam ... then Steve went psycho ...

never thought about it before, but we have had a history of drama in our 'clubs', except for hangin' with the 247 folks!

Potato and I still have Mazdas. Did I meet Klink??

The new Skyactiv is by far the easiest car EVER to change oil in. There's one screw holding in a 3x5 cover and both the oil filter and drain plug are right there. The only odd thing was, you needed an allen to take off the drain plug. A much needed change from that darn around the hot exhaust, over the axle and all the way on the back side of the head of the protege...

Seems like all new cars hide the filter and/or drain plug behind a splash shield. So that's nice that that it's just one screw to get access to what you need. The Mazdaspeed3's splash shield and I had many an angry conversation when it wouldn't come off because of rusty ass screws/bolts.

that's why I cut a hole in the one for the 3, didn't need to take it off

Talking with the Mazda representative at the Auto show yesterday, he confirmed my suspicion; This is the last year for the Mazdaspeed3.
