Thanks dudes! Hopefully gonna pick up one today, replace it, and see if it helps. If not, I'll go ahead and get a new o2 sensor. Think it's worth just replacing all ignition coils and wires while I'm at it? Not sure when they were last replaced though.

lucky you. Im not too worried. They don't do a visual inspection on exhausts in my area and don't test emissions in my area either. But, it would be nice to not have to deal with it at all.

I'll be moving back to the east coast when the time comes.
OAN: my EGR tube has popped off again. It's starting to get on my nerves. If I could delete the EGR and pass inspection, I'd be all for it. It's crazy, I'll be driving and all of a sudden, my car sounds like a huge exhaust leak because the tube came off. I'm starting to think the EGR tube that came with the 505 manifold has the wrong nut on it for the fitting. So probably this weekend, I'll be taking the manifold off so I can get a clear look at the fitting and try to put the EGR tube on that way.

where is it comming off the intake or the exhaust side. theres no way that thing should be popping off like that

intake side. The exhaust side is fine. But when I thread the nut on the intake side, it's all by feel which is no big deal. There is plenty of room and I'm used to doing blind work from when I was an aircraft mechanic. But this is crazy. I'm just going to take everything out and physically look at it as I'm doing it.
Thats strange. My egr on the intake side is barely more than hand tight but it never loosened or came off.
