im trying to find a turbo kit that will go in with the stock engine and not blow it up. every where i look i can only find stuff for the 3. if anyone can help i would greatly apprieate it.
theyre working on it... check threads under this one
Do you know what the Japanese turbo kits are running for. Or if I have to make my own how much do you think it will end up being.
my custom kit im making its around 3000-35000
>custom manifold from my friends shop (500ish dollars)s
That's quite a range! Just buy the Knight Sport turbo... jeez.. haha![]()
Will that shop be selling them?
not sure. i could find out, they are good friends of mine and speed3/6 owners so im sure theyd be done to help the 2s.
yeah the manifold will be the most expensive part as far as parts. i think the tune for the aem fic will prolly be around the same. luckily the turbo range for us is cheap cuz they are so small. and if you havnt seen the msm core its tinnyyyyy and since most speedmiatas upgrade to bigger you should be able to get one cheap from them. That would be nice. Even nicer if they worked with Dynotronics which are you know, in New Braunfels, TX. Main issue that could be delaying a turbo from being created for the masses is the cost of the manifold. If somehow your friend can supply the manifolds to Dynotronics for a low price then you never know. I think it's an idea that's worth pursuing. What do you think?

i think a turbo mazda2 in the states is possible just need the tune and manifold. everything else is there.

Manifolds are already built, and in production. BTW tube manifolds are not the right way to go on the 2, ask me how I know. All our new manifolds are cast
