The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I think it means talking to people she doesn't know about things she doesn't really know about and not wanting to sound stupid to them. You know, girl stuff.

I am tomorrow and hopefully the speakers stay not working this time.

co-drove Marc's miata at the Chrysler plant yesterday, its a really fun car to drive despite the understeer, would have been a better choice if I only did autox. Also I'm pretty sure I'm not going to sleep for the next couple of months, Resident Evil 6 comes out tomorrow...

I've driven CS cars... unless the alignment is way off, or you were trying to drive it like an FWD car, it should rotate quite well. Shouldn't be a doreefto machine or anything, but it should rotate.

hmm, maybe it was the really old paper thin slicks (corded one on the last run), or maybe I'm used to making mine rotate, dunno. It was still fun

Still having the stock rear bar = should rotate on demand. If the tires were dead, that would do it too though (front end losing grip).

My miata pushed the front end a lot when it was stock. Then again, it was my first RWD car so .. Dunno. Could have been over driving it.

I'm also going to guess that being the cold pavement and the hard tires in the front didn't help much either. I spun out 3 times in my MSP. That first right 90 with that slight elevation change was over killing my rotation. One of the few times I wish I had softer spings so the car wouldn't be so flat. Still had fun. The other guy in my class didn't see me registered in SMF so he jumped into SM with the other 4, which left me alone. At least they were behind me so I could compare my times with them. On my 2nd run no one told me there was a cone under my car from the previous run and a dragged it the whole 2nd run KILLED IT lol. Good Times! I love my car. Still crazy to see the boost gauge launch to 9psi before settling back down to the stock 6.5. I'm really thinking about putting the manual boost controller on for the last event @ Fostoria were the laps are recorded for records. I need to get down to a 41.115. My best last year with street tires, stock struts, and little motor work was 45.215. 4 seconds is a lot of time and comparing my times with the sames cars last year I've lost a little over 2 seconds from last year. Need to minus a few more lbs and NEED MORE POWA!

I would love to have another $20 dyno day just to see what the 223k+ motor put out. The thing still has loads of pep and doesn't skip a beat.
