Mazda CX-5 Headlights

ok guys i have a mazda cx5 touring with tech package and im trying to change the color of my hid that i already have stock but i cant get the headlight to comeout. and one know what to do and if you guys can help ill post picture and show u how i did it.

Sorry I can't help you with your question but I am interested in the answer too since you are having trouble getting the headlights out. I have the touring model with the basic halogen lights and I want to upgrade them to a better quality light -I was wondering if anyone did this and if they had any problems. I suspect this would be easier than changing the HID's.

Pretty sure you have the wrong bulb for the DRL. I believe it's supposed to be a P13W.

yeah u got the wrong drl bulb. h11 is only for non-xenon models. Im still trying to find a h11 hb3 led bulb that will work properly with my drl for my non-xenon gt.

Hey post pics of those LED bulbs for your DRLs. I bought a pair on ebay a couple years ago and you could barely see it during the daytime. Also those 6000k HID bulbs which are like $22.00 for a pair. Beware. Better yet Don't Do it!!!! The stock CX-5 Xenon system is a good one. The housing and projectors (made by Stanley) paired with the stock 4300k oem bulbs are already good. The light it gives off to oncoming traffic is a piercing white color. Only when you stand next to it up close at an angle do you see a hint of yellow. But stand in front of your car and walk back 20-30 feet and you'll see what I'm talking about. Its a good system bro. Those $22 6000k bulbs will not only look dimmer but you're taking a risk in destroying your Xenxon system simply due to lower quality control.

ok so guys i finally got something done. so for the DRLs heres what i did. and this is the best DRL in the market right now. its so bright and oem looking your going to love it. i dont think anyone has done this yet. ill post pics soon. so i installed this in my DRL http://www.ebay.com/itm/110944034098?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2648 this is HQ stuff man. and for the Headlight i still cant get the bulb to pop out it wont release. i dont know how to. other then that i changed my interior lights, my reverse lights, DRls,licence plate light and Fog lights.

So I've been looking through the forums and I cannot seem to find anyone posting a how to for the plug and play HID conversion kit. Is there anyone out there that has a step by step guide with pics or knows where to find a step by step guide. Thanks in advance! FYI 2013 CX-5 Touring (non tech pkg).
