guess who11!!!

^^^ bewbs.

Who is that though? Making good progress though, guys. Well done!

my clutch pedal doesn't feel very firm, am I going to need to replace my clutch soon? It's my first manual so not sure what the signs are and it took alot of abuse early on.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers!

I don't think I remember feeling a decrease in pedal pressure when my clutches would go out. I just started smelling clutch, and it would slip under acceleration, a little bit at first, then to the point where the car wouldn't move. lol

This was all at least 10 years ago though...so it's been a while.

Lol thanks for appreciating my art! And that's Corey trying to imitate you when you did your first motor swap ;)

Oh wow, he looks totally different without the beard and baseball cap. I'm honored. haha

Nate, try bleeding the clutch first. There is a bleeder valve near your radiator just like a brake bleeder valve. Just keep an eye on the brake fluid level.

The tranny is due for some new fluid. I don't want to do that and then turn around and replace the clutch. In a couple months.

The clutch bleeder valve uses brake fluid, and is a line from the brake fluid reservoir. No stinky trans fluid necessary. It's pretty much a two person job though if Amber will pump the clutch pedal for you.

Found that I spun a bearing and it shreaded it to where the two pieces were overlaped and really thin. The crank doesn't look like it is groved, but it looks like it was lightly scuffed and not silky smooth like it should be. I don't know if it will need turned down or if I could wet sand and polish it? I'll try to get a better picture of it later. My hands were really dirty and didn't want to mess with the camera too much and the metal just looks really shiny all over.

Sorry to hear that Corey :( Hopefully you get it all sorted out.

On another note, I'm considering looking for a set of track wheels and tires. I would prefer something along the lines of 17x8 with at least a 235 series tire. I don't think I'll be buying new unless it's a phenomenal deal. Any deals out there?

I thought you already had a track setup?? Something about all 3 of you guys having stacks of tires to the garage ceiling at PIE. lol

I forget who I was talking at the BBQ that had their downpipe still and wanted to get rid of it, but if you're on here pm me sometime.

Haha I actually don't have a track setup right now. The wheels on Evans p5 were my track wheels. I only have my summer set and winter set. I'm getting rid of my winter set since I will be buying Evans stock winter set for the probe and wont need one for the speed. I did some searching online last night and I think I know what I'm going with. Still on the lookout for the exact tires I want though :). Going with 235/45-17

I'd suggest just using what you have until you have a few events under your belt... that way you're not dropping a metric s*** ton of money into something you'll do maybe twice a year.
