the one i have is like a claw and and center screw thing with a point... when i tighten the claws grip the outsid eof the hub and the center suppose to push inward just like the pics you showed me

Sorta like a gear puller? I've done that too. I've had good luck with the above tools and an impact gun. I've also used a pneumatic chisel, pushing against the axle. That worked too. Also heating the living piss out of it.

got it out yeaaaa pulledbengine now taking tranny apart to reuse a few bolts on new tranny theeeenn the big drop in!

decided i'm keeping the silver one for at least another year...

cool story: bought the UEGO from a forum member, but it didn't come with the black faceplate. called up AEM and the guy who answered sent me one for free!

Im pretty happy with the new AEM boost gauge, but.... WTF, the digital readout doesn't have a +/-?

also, my OEM ken wood finally kicked the bucket today. :/

grease the shaft before you try sliding it on. it'll go on.

Where have you heard that? I've been needing to redo the valve on my car for the past 15-20k roughly and i have 128k give or take on it. Full syn oil change every 3k since I got the car with 39k on it.
The shop I had my head cleaned and decked at said that, they are some pretty smart guys. They did a pressure test on the valves to show me mine were fine after ~113k miles. They said usually on '00 and newer imports the valves won't significantly leak until about 150k miles unless the motor has been beat on or run low on oil for extended periods.
