haha sooo true! i just bought my P5 a week ago. I live in california and bought my car from a californian....who used to live back east!!!!....during my full point inspection they had me walk under my car to show me allllllllll the rust and corrosion from the salted roads back east....breaks my heart but it is stoppable and somewhat reversible PLUS 3 days after buying it i was hit with the rough idle...its been a week now and with tons of research here on the forums, some mechanical knowhow a and a handful of parts and fixes later i ALMOST have the rough idle under control. Its way better than when it first started but im still not completely relieved of the problem...BUT without the help of this forum im sure id be 100s of dollars deeper in shop bills than i would be now.
