What have you done to your MS3 today?

Painted the calipers black using duplicolor's caliper painting kit. I was very impressed with the quality of the kit for $20. It was dark by the time I got done so no pics yet. From what I could see, it looks great.

haven't updated in a while, but put my new wheels on last weekend, and also, 2 weeks ago, the wife and I purchased a 2010 Mazda CX-7. SOooooOOo nice to have 2 turbo mazda's sitting in our driveway :)

here is couple pics of my new wheels:

Sonic Tuning ST120s

Please tell me you didn't pay $499 a wheel for those things? Because that's the ******* rippoff of the century. That place is a joke. I was semi-interested. So I looked at the site. Those prices are ******* retarded high. I'm fairly certain TireRack doesn't even charge that much for real BBS's. I'm not sure if they were, they didn't say they were real BBS wheels.

Went to the dealer fully modded to try and diagnose a suspension issue. End result was "when you get some coils let us know and we'll get you some top hats to hopefully prevent any additional clunking...and get some side motor mounts..."

Received a fresh set of itv22s and my cobb xle. Gonna throw them in tomorrow...or tonight after dinner since I'm like a 2 year old when it comes to modding.

[ I'm like a 2 year old when it comes to modding.[/QUOTE] you aint the only one, but i have to look at my stuff for awhile before i put it on. Like my tbe was layed out in my living room for over a week because its only super shiny once!!
MM put a bit more tire on those wheels and you will be in very good shape.
calipers go nice with cosmic blue never thought of that color but i like. well done.
Dont worry about domino, he's like that. Heck i have Tenzos but i love them and they are perfect for me and i think he bashed me for them once well lotsa people did actually. I cant see lug nuts though, maybe someting color close to calipers would be nice

oh wait, my story for today is awesome and you guys will laugh i hope. hope i dont get banned.
lol
So i am driving back from pizza shop for lunch time and i am near a local high school. well i am just trying to get back to work and chow down.
i am at a light and i hear from behind somewhere " hey that thing got a turbo" i really did not know who he was yelling at but i look up and back out window and its a bunch of high school kids crammed in some car. Of course i have to smile especially because they just look like.. well you know, kids. all silly and smiling in the sunshining fall day. I said yes it does. i hear wow cooll and sweet. i am really about to laugh but its cool. Then one of them said can you rev it , i did a little. Then he said how many psi? thats what he said. Now i love the kid because he knows something. so the lite changes and well you know. i think i got up to about ten miles per hour and stopped again. they were screaming and the other kid asks if he can take a video of my car. I smiled again and revved it. they followed me a couple miles hanging out window and waving. I never sped or got crazy and threw chunks of front tires at them.
I was cool for a couple minutes and as an old guy that aint too bad.
just hope i do not see myself on u tube. because it was not washed again/still
damn kids

Woah, woah, guys... I'm not pissed at MM Boost. Honestly. I'm pissed at the site for over-charging. I even got a PM about it. I look at $2000 and think of all the stuff I could get with that amount of money. I'd be ******* afraid to drive on them.

Ummmm...Domino, that is $499 for a SET of 4. I paid $536, and got the wheels, a can of wheel wax, a set of replacement hids, and free shipping. Took 2 days to ship to my door step.

ok whatever. they look good but how much do they weigh? that is the question. if yours are lighter than mine you win. you go first though lol

It says 24, but I doubt it. All I know is they weigh less than OEM. However, I don't give a crap about weight. I daily drive my car and I just wanted a nice set of wheels that look good and will give me extra width with an aggressive offset, and these did just that, and on the cheap. Highly quality wheels, and top notch service. Couldn't be happier.

Still have to throw on my 5mm spacers in the front this weekend to make the offset +30, and it should sit a lot more flush. Still have to roll the left rear a hair more where fender meets the bumper, got a SLIGHT rub right there.
