What have you done to your Miata today?

interesting looks like the car starts out lean and then straightens it self out in the top end. Seems to me like the hydra is pulling timing all over the place. are you getting clean signals from all your sensors?

That's a good question. The main reason I went ahead and put it up there was because I wasn't too sure if I could trust my AFR in my datalog. I wanted a second opinion. Now that I have that, I can compare datalog to graph and see what's really happening.

That being said... 180 whp while running that bad isn't too bad... LOL

180 wheel isnt bad at all. It looks like your wideband datalog is spot on too compared to the dyno tailpipe sniffer. id check to see if your getting any temporary signal interruption from your crank or cam sensor. Its just me guessing maybe someone with more standalone experience could chime in. That and is your boost fluctuating at all?

I was kinda thinking cam sensor too.

The boost stays relatively flat. It kinda dips a few tenths when the car acts up, but for the most part, holds steady.

Man, this would be so much easier if it was OBD-2, but... that would take all the fun out of this.

That's why I like my '91, no ODB anything, at all, ever. No emissions standards for that matter. XD

Let me rephrase then: I'm allowed to strip out the original ECU, put in a MS1 which doesn't have ODB anything, and still be legal :D

Well, yeah. Same in just about anywhere. In Metro Atlanta we have emissions testing. For Pre-OBDII it's just a tailpipe sniffer (if you're running an MS, just set up a tune for it to run stoic @ low rpm cruise and stock timing. Boom, passed. Even without a cat LOL), and OBDII stuff is just plug into the system and make sure there's no CEL. Easy peasy.

Finally received my approval for MMD membership today. Unfortunately I have no monies to buy things. I can look!

That's no fun. Actually... that's where I wish mine was.

Used mine at Mid Ohio to cart around a videographer
