What have you done to your Miata today?

Not a damn thing.. its still dead in the driveway. Too lazy and just dont care enough to buy a new battery... :) Besides, my beloved P5 needs a chargespeed lip ;)
:p

Not trying to sound like a smart ass but why do you still have the car if you hate it so much?

she will get around to fixing it eventually and see what she was missing. :{D

I am lazy like that too, i need to get a powersteering hose for my mx-3 but coudn't find it... cuz i'm not trying hard.

I'm going to wash the NB on friday to get it ready for mazfest on saturday. :D

Yeah, I would love a 4Runner, Tundra, or Tacoma. Great trucks. I would just need something fun to drive on the side (Miata! :)

I've been having boost-creep issues with my awesome china-charger. So I ported the IWG and *magic happens* no more boost creep!

just finished reading about boost creep and what causes it and remedies...looks like porting is the way to go...

I got a cel last night. Hoping it's a wet MAF. Pulled it when I got home, and I'm going to go put everything back together and clear the code and see what happens

it was MAF signal input high, so we cleared it, swapped filters and all is good. it's been so damn wet this week, i am having my first "wet week" since moving back from az. The car sat for two days kind of nose up, so I guess the filter got wet in all of the storms

Yeah, it was almost silly how small the IWG port was (I am seriously disappointed in myself because I forgot to take pictures). I bet I about doubled the flow area of the port and I also contoured it so that it wasn't just a hole perpendicular to flow, but more like a scoop. I angled the port's profile to be about 45deg or so to the exhaust flow.

Yeah, porting an IWG is definitely the way to go. External wastegate would be more ideal if an IWG can't keep up, but porting definitely should help.

changed the oil, rotated/balanced the tires, installed new drive belts, and cleaned the carbon out of the throttle body...runs a bit better now.

I do have to say 10k miles into the dunlop star specs i expected alot more wear for their tread wear rating but they still have a ton of meat on them....extremely happy with the tires thus far they are smooth, quiet, do very well in the rain, and are very sticky for a daily driven tire.

My EBC green stuff pads are a different story the rears look like the should and have plenty of life on them....the fronts seem to be wearing quite quick

Yeah, the Star specs wear like iron, which is incredible for how "fast" a tire they are.
