xDJ DUBx's 94 PZ NA8C

*le sigh.. **** I hate stupid people..

The guy I bought my MSPNP unit from claimed it was a 94-95(there is 3 units, 90-93, 94-95, 96-97) but while I was checking out the pins on it today, I found a little sticker saying it was a 90-93.. I asked him about it and he said that the PO had a 92 with a 1.8 swap, just like he himself had, so he just figured it was a 94-95 unit but upon searching, the units are based off of the car's harness and sensors, not the motor, so even though he had a 1.8 motor, he had a 1.6 harness which is what mattered.

Anyway, I don't have an ECU now because someone had their info mixed up. I just put it up for sale and am just going to buy a brand new 94-95 unit once this one sells.

oh it sucks! Why don't you try to contact the seller and saying look it your fault, fix it! Ask him to send you the right stuff, and send I'm back the wrong one

He felt bad an etc, claimed he'd refund me if he could but was broke atm so I just asked him for $20 to cover shipping costs and I put it up for sale, I already sold it so its all good. lol

greg, how're those racelands treating you? they offer them for the STi.. and I am considering buying them. i Haven't found any definitive issues with them. people just "hate" them because they're "too cheap" to be good..

My friend has had racelands on all his VW's. Im pleasantly surprised with the ride quality. The coilovers themselves look and feel kinda meh. They look like they're made of mild steel and made quickly and cheaply. That said they're awesome! Never heard of anyone blowing them...

what year is your sti? if you get them, can you test to see if they will fit on the protege? i have been wondering this for a while. they look very similar as far as stock gos.

it's an 04.

Your to be installed list is getting cluttered. I suggest shifting some parts to the installed list so that the to be installed list doesnt get too unruly :D (evil)

If you're into hardcore performance, walk away. That's what I've heard. Not bad for street driving and purposeful for stance. The Miata I rode in with them was somewhat comfortable.

Yeah i was watching my buddys on Racelands autocross yesterday and it was bouncing all over the place.
He is stupid low though.
