What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

are those gauges 52mm or 60mm? i might have to get the boost one cause they look pretty sweet! if i do this will be my 4th different boost gauge i've tried, lol.

they 52mm. i will say they are awesome looking gauges. thus far they have proven to be very accurate and responsive. the wideband is nice too. you accually calibrate itfore using it. was pretty cool. it does it by itself tho. just have to push a button on the controller.

im on my 3rd set of gauges myself. but you have me beat at 4, haha. i have a couple still pics if you'd like to see them outside the video

i had a prosport boost gauge before but it didn't prove to be very accurate. are you able to calibrate the boost gauge cause when i had them before with the car off it never sat at 0.

so far these are fine. right on par with my logging and such. when i was installing them, i did notice they had an allen key thing in that back that looks like it would adjust it. i will find out definitely for you. as im not sure what that allen key does, lol.

the thing i like about these (as with any digital) is that you can read the exact reading, rather than kinda guesstimate by judging the needle. these also come in two colors. apparently they are the first digital gauge to offer 2 in 1 colors. the blue you see in my vid and red. they are also half the thickness of the regular gauges if that means anything to you. i will hit up my contact at Prosport and ask about the adjustment.

i know before i figured out the Wideband needed to be calibrated it was reading low 11's while idling. and i knew something was wrong, lol. pressed the button and it did its thing..started the car it was all good.

yeah i had the electronic gauages before but right now i'm using mechanical and even with mechanical it seems it doesn't sit at 0 when in off position. maybe it has to do with the location they are calibrated at to here being different elevation.

i appreciate you finding that out for me.

woop! car is back to summer mode completly with wheels, CAI all re-installed, all thats left to put on are the RPM springs that never got installed last year... gonna leave it alone for a couple months and buy a bicycle to reduce fuel costs for the summer... but come mid summer you can expect to see and updated thread including a fresh paint job, some new products from SURE, and mayyybe a carbon fiber part hear and there

Last weekend I replaced the pads and rotors with hawk hps and centric premium and installed a SURE RMM, this weekend I'll be replacing the plugs and trying to get the rear keyless antenna working again. Sometime next week I should be getting a custom exhaust... it's nice not being unemployed anymore!!

i went with a hypersilver wheel on my liquid plat 6 ...different wheel..but shows the color comparison

I think the hypersilver looks good...im not much for black wheels.

yes.. and im aware holding the button (aka sitting on it) will put down the windows.... but if i;m next to the car it hardly ever works, my blackberry interferes with it all the time causing the car not to start untill i separate them into different pockets... BUT if i'm inside a building and no wheres near the car the stupid thing works 150%

That sucks. I don't have any issues. *knocks on woods*

I need some of your luck then.. I had 35% on mine all the way around and within the first week of moving here I got ***** twice, so after $91 and another warning I just decided to rip it off the driver's side window. I am going to retint it something closer to 50% though. I just hate how strict Virginia is, but I read somewhere that they are trying to get it dropped to 35% all the way around.

Yea, they are trying to pass a bill now that will allow you to run up to 35% on the fronts as well

Well, I got the Rotas on today with my summer rubber, but the day was basically a failure.

I was also going to install my H&Rs using MS64MEE's how-to, but I ran into a corroded sway bar bolt on the first corner. The impact gun managed to turn it, but the entire thing, bolt and nut, just spun around as one piece. I ended up rounding the bolt, swearing a bunch, and giving up for the day.

It looks like I'm going to have to hacksaw or Dremel the nut off. Ugh.

Drove my speed6 to work & back.

I have a potential buyer for the Miata. I'm kinda sad about this. I <3 the yata!

Khamikahze - how do you like the TMIC? Noticable improvement?

you know, not really. but then again, I don't have a proper tune on it. I have tried to get my ATRbeta from Cobb so I can update my current maps, but so far, haven't heard anything from them. Not to mention, just like you, I've been dealing with snow- and ice-covered conditions that have only recently cleared.

Regarding your boost gauge, do you have the mechanical or electrical? I have a feeling I have asked you this before....

I went to the track(1/8) yesterday. Ran a 8.658 at 80.6. 60 foot time was 1.907. I know it wasn't today but just wanted to share it with everyone.

I have the electrical. Although as part of my little efforts toward spring cleaning on the weekend, I looked at the crappy aquarium tubing that came with the kit and it has gone yellow/brown in some areas and the heat seems to have squished and molded it into a sort of oval mess. I'll swing by the auto parts place and get some proper thick vac tubing and replace the length of it.

Mostly I just got the OEM summer wheels back on and gave it a rinse. Feels good to have the winter rubber off, and I'm sure it will be even better when I stop at the gas station to set the air pressure properly. I have to say that my new Mastercraft impact wrench with adjustable torque setting is a LOT more satisfying to use than the tiny little tire iron that lives in the trunk! :)

Well saturday started out as a good day, no rain just a little chilly. Started working on the car and putting the springs on. With the help of my friend, we got the front springs installed and it started to pour the rain. Took the rear about 20 minutes longer than it should have because it was so wet and nasty out. Had to drive across town to our buddies house to put the car under the car port to finish it all up and roll the fenders. The car is pretty slammed now and it looks killer. I'm waiting until this afternoon before I can clean it up and take some good pics of the car.

Your spring installation went a lot smoother than mine...

I've ordered replacement end links. I'm just gonna hacksaw the f**kers off.
