So I changed my wheel set-up from black XXR 522 18x8.5 +48 to Bronze XXR 522 +30. I did a fender roll after realizing that my fenders got hungry and started eating away at my rubber. The majority of the rub is gone, but still here some slight rubbing. Any ideas as to what is going on?? The tires show no sign of being ate away at anymore.

add more negative camber.
also make sure the front part of the rear fender gets rolled because it can still hit there.
I just used a rubber mallet to "adjust" that part of the fender yesterday. Do I need anything in particular to adjust the camber?? Like new end links or ball joints or anything like that??
on the rear all you will have to do is go to a shop and tell them, no extra parts to adjust rear camber.

The inside pivot point for the rear lower control arm is fastened with a bolt that has an eccentric washer. When you loosen the nut and turn the bolt, the rear camber will change.
Realize that after adding more negative camber, you will have to adjust your toe as well (as you add negative camber, the tire will toe in). Your best bet is to have an alignment shop take care of it.

Oh I will. NTB takes care of all my alignment issues. Or at least my buddy that works there.

that's what I was thinking as well.
i have the same wheels but on a 38 offset and 9.5 wide, and im not rubbing at all, even with 3 ppl on the back seat, i have my fenders rolled of corse and its fine it was only rubbing in the rear b4 i rolled my fenders, the front was fine, post some pics of the wheels would like to see how they look on ur car
also what size tires are u running? im on 225/45 18, they have a mild strech and fit perfect, i had 235/45 and they where rubbing a lil on the rear, a 235 40 would be a good size for my set up
Yeah, I have 18x8.5 +30 running 225/40R18 but my fenders were not rolled at first. It ate away at some of the tire. The rear don't seem to be that much of an issue anymore, but once the ball joints come in, I am going to adjust all 4 wheels with about -2 camber angle. Bova, do you think that is too aggressive?
are you lowered? im looking at getting some 18x8" wheels and im wondering if ill need a fender roll or not. ill probably be going with a 225/40/18 tire and im a stock height (working around a warranty)
I'm lowered on H&R springs. The only reason why I needed a fender roll is due to the offset. The +30 offset is uber aggressive on MS6's.
it looks awesome tho, maybe you could give me some advice on the wheels im about to order. they tenzo-r type m theres 3 versions available in the 18x8. one with a +25 offset, one with +37 and one with +45.. any opinion? and as far a rubbing? i most likely will have it a stock ride height for a good while.

if you are stock height, then more likely then not - unless you find a way to bottom out - you won't rub. As far as offset, +45 is the best way to go. If you go +37, you might have to have spacers; and definitely a fender roll if you get some lowering springs. At a +25 offset, I wouldn't chance it, unless you have a fender roll, probably some spacers, and adjustable ball joints - like I am having to get - on the front wheels.
Cool, thanks man. and i was also reading about offset and i seems i effects cornering and speed stability. Is there a way to find out how going from stock (18x7 +60 on a 215/45R18 tire) to the new wheels (18x8 +45 on a 225/40/19 tire) will effect the car performance?

it won't by much at all. . . I used to run a 18x8.5 +48 in the same style wheel and I didn't see any negative difference at all. In fact, quite the opposite because you are running a wider wheel/tire combo; you have a larger contact surface area.
