Clutch squeaking and rattling noise

Okay, so I just bought my MS3 in January and the clutch started slipping. I had a new clutch installed by the dealer's "shop" and it's been about 1,300 miles since then. Lately, though, I've noticed a really high pitched squeaking noise coming from the clutch area and what sounds like a rattling noise when the car is below about 25 miles per hour. However, when I push the clutch pedal in, it goes away. It doesn't affect driving, it's just really loud and obnoxious. Any thoughts?

if its making the noise with the clutch engaged, and not when disengaged, I would look away from the clutch and toward the drivetrain

I asked another friend, and he said throwout bearing as well, so that's what I'm leaning towards. Too bad the dealer wants upwards of 900 dollars to change out the bearing. I'd rather just get some buddies to help do it for a case of beer and some grub.

Don't bother changing just the bearing, you will need to drop the tranny and it will go bad if you replace for OEM again anyway. Most of our cars do it...

TOB is stationary when clutch is engaged

unless you are on of those folk that use the pedal as a foot rest

I have always heard that it's normal. FWIW my '09 has done it the entire time I've had it. No squeaks, but it rattles at idle.
