Did my first oil change! Went swimmingly thanks to the awesome how-to on here. I'll buy the Mazda oil filter wrench for the next time though, the strap wrench was kind of a PITA. Also my drain plug was WAAAY too tight!
Anyway, Royal Purple 5W-30 coursing though my engine now!

It seemed to run smoother, but I'm attributing that to the warmer temperatures. Best not to get too optimistic. Haha.

gonna have to wait 2 weeks...got a project this weekend with my father in law to build my shed out back so we can start storing everything and then my sister is visiting from out of town for her birthday next weekend. then its on like donkey kong. im excited because these wheels can be found NO where on the internets actually mounted on a car. they look like plain wheels in the product pictures, but um, far from plain in person. i took a chance on these, and damn they blew me out of the water. faces are concaved very nicely, better than the pics elude. im freakin pumped. specs will be 18x8.5" +40 with 225/40/18s.

A complaint is going to be sent to them tonight. Not only does this s*** look cheaply made, it took a month for it to get to me. >

bought a used OEM style fiber images CF hood. probably going to wrap it in white 3M di noc "CF" vinyl.

hehe... probably leave the roof white if i do the white overlay on the hood. if i kept the CF hood black I might do a black roof but I don't think that's in the cards.
