Any photographers in here?

you guys are good, its the extractor off a Glock.

I was messing around with the tripod and full manual which i dont do much.

Damn....that was my guess at first but yours doesn't have a hole in the middle like my springfield xd does, which indicates the firing pin is ready

I only said airsoft cuz you said plastic

the little notch at the left rear is the loaded chamber indicator but no it doesnt have the hole with the red indicator that the xd does.

thats what i figured when you mentioned airsoft, sorry if i threw you off with saying plastic. if you talk to sig/1911/revolver guys and the glocks/xd/m&p's are "plastic guns".

Shot an event a couple of weeks ago.

Blasphemy!!

<--- Sig owner. =P

Once I move on to pistol shopping (I'm finishing up my first AR build now) It'll be a 1911 or a 92F for me... (this will complete my trifecta of military (civilian version) firearms. lol (already have a mossberg 500)

And so we are on topic:

92FS? That was the first one I wanted, because I was already used to it. But quickly went the economical route (even though I still went brand new)

Ill have to whip the cam out tonight and snap some gun pics

the FS is just the updated version with a bigger hammer pin to stop the slide mechanism. I'm not that picky. lol

i'd been avoiding posting gun stuff here, i try and keep that to those forums. i've still yet to own a sig but id like a 228/229 and id also like to get a 1911 since its the 100yr anniversary but probably just low end. then again id like some new camera lens's too. my wish list cost more than i make in a year...

Yeah... I built an AR-15 instead of buying glass. I'm about $1100 into a gun I could likely sell for $1500 or so. I think I made the right choice. If only I could build lenses for the same percentage. lol

Yeah, I hear you.

I'll have to post a photo of the collection we have here sometime. Sig P229R, Sig P239, M1911, Colt New Frontier, Ruger Single Six, Ruger LCR, Kel-tec P3AT, S&W J-Frame, Mossberg 590, Stoeger M2000, AR-15 (x2), SKS, M1917, and a few others that I am forgetting at the moment.

:D

OK so i brought back the D3100, I know.....why??? right?....Well it was more camera than I really wanted....needed....knew what to do with.....I think when I have more time i will invest in something like that.....so for now I bought in exchange the Canon Powershot SX30 IS.....and I must say for an advanced P&S its more my speed....Still can get some really great pictures out of it......I like that in auto it can detect macro and other settings that I just dont have the patience for right now. i wanted a somewhat simple yet great camera. and I think I found it......see pics below....just samples I will play more tomorrow and over the weekend with more features....

Looks like a night portrait setting where it does a flash with long exposure, but the temp is not set for incandescent lighting so its overly warm
