Ok so although i am pretty new to the forums, i believe that we can start throwing out ideas for the spring time as the weather stays nice all day and night. Im thinking we should definitly have a couple houston/surrounding area meets around spring break time which for most is roughly around march 14th through 20th. so really if anyone in this area can throw some ideas around(locations,times, activities,etc.) that would be great! We should also make a list of who plans on attending so it can be a bit more organized but that wont happen till the time gets closer. I live about 30 mins north of downtown houston and the suburbs around here are pretty chill so most buisinesses dont mind if we meet in there parking lot as long as theres not vandalism(burnouts, trash, etc.)
Great places to meet-
most dennys and ihops have fairly good size parking lots(at least by me)
Santikos silverado 19 has a good parking lot
Bestbuy has a good parking lot
Acadamy is fairly decent
Krogers
End of walmart parking lot

ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT!!!

Im game. I know there are some pretty big lots in the Woodlands. Back in the day we used to meet in front of Furniture King/Panchos and it was an all makes kind of meet. Then there's Gunspoint mall, the lot right next to the freeway is huge and rarely taken, usually only when that little circus is there. Then we could go to Fudruckers too(headbang)

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay people replied!!!!! well spring break is comin up so of course more planning is coming up now, i dont wanna go to greenspoint cuz ive been to a meet there before, and a bunch of poser dubs show up(they only had rims and pa systems) and took over then the cops come. So more closer towards the willowbrook/woodlands area is good. If any of you guys know where tomball is, there are HUGE lots by the acadamy over there. really it depends on how many people are wanting to do this. KEEP IN TOUCH!!!! and we will get this figured out

I've only got a Racing Beat cat-back and a K&N Filter, but I'd still like to look at other's cars. I cant put my Racing Beat springs on yet cause the damn bolt wont unscrew from the strut tower and the whole shaft spins so I have to get new struts and tophats(hand)

I'm up for a Mazda meet. I was going to start a Houston thread meet up after I got tuned, but you beat me to it *pro73ge* We should have one big MAZDA MEET (teams, individuals, clubs) once a month and talk car, get to know everyone and maybe even do some racing . Would be fun to get away and just hang out in person then communicate through a monitor. I'm definitely down for whatever, because once I'm tuned ima be hitting up a lot of meets and would love to have some other forum members be the eye witnesses

I'm a new member, but this is just what I was looking for. Although I haven't done any mods to my car, I'd for sure like to scope out some of y'alls mods and get some hands on ideas. I live in the woodlands area, and I am free for spring break as well. Tomball does have big lots at 2920 and 249. At the LOWES, there is a Denny's right there as well. And a cheap badass bowling alley.

Im thinking we should do a meetup the 1st Friday night of every month. If no one wants to take control of this I will be more than happy to organize something.

I'd love to meet up and have a get together but the driving on Westheimer till 4 in the morning is out the window for me. I'v got a 3 month old so I couldnt do any of that stuff. But meeting up on an afternoon or even a 8 or 9 o'clock meet would be cool.

Well I write the schedules at work so almost anytime is good for me. I just have to clear it with the boss at home and her little helper

ETA: Oh yea, I dont really make it to Houston very often so I dont know of any places at all. Cant help with that, sorry.

holly crap. the one time i want to start getting something together i get horribly busy(work,school, no internet at the house). but from what i read from everyone it seems like we should try to make something on a friday or saturday, later on in april, maybe 22nd or 23rd??? thats about 25 days away i think so by then we could have better plans than what i failed at first(i blame life) since so far theres not that many of us.... id say the best idea would be to meet somewhere we can eat(fast food or restauraunt).
