What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Snow + All Seasons = Bad idea.
Till I get better tires, no more slideways for me lol.
Buddy nailed his R32 into a curb lastnight...lol...took a chunk outta his rims.

for sure. I was coming to a stop at the end of my neighborhood and braked too late like an asshole and slid like 60 feet. I was sliding towards the main road and a truck was coming. abs was working overload and I wasnt stopping. I had to swerve off the the side to get more distant but just barely got her stopped before the truck passed. :(

man if only texas had some snow would i be tearing s*** up.
on a side note it rained pretty good the other night and i slid the hell out of my car and it caught traction before i could react and it got all squirrly on me but i kept it from hitting a curb lol

Still no snow here! This time last year there was 9". I did notice that this past tank of gas, I got 30 miles less than normal..... I need to change those plugs to see if that's whats causing the CEL for Misfire on Cyl 1

i just planned a route on google maps across the united states and back across canada... just over 15,000KM... time to start saving my pennies

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY 5's!!!!

:)

i just installed those. hood does not sit like it used too. i followed the directions to a T. and the hood just sits a little taller now.

It could be just me though!?

Some douche bag tapped the rear end in a McDonald's drive-thru. I got out the car & verbally abused the s*** outta him.

No visible damage...must wash her this week to triple check.

For taller do you mean it opens up a bit further? If that's the case I actually don't mind, makes it easier to work on the engine.

Yea. That happened to me one time except I was sitting at a stop sign. Felt like I had dumped the clutch and the car jerked forward only to realize my clutch was still in..

got quite the looks from my neighbor today as i left the house (she also drives a 6, but i assume she has noooo idea of the differences between mine and hers) as she was just getting home, parked on the road waiting for a break in traffic so she could safely back into her driveway, i see a break in traffic big enough for me so i hammer through the snow at the end of my driveway.... her, still watching with great interest and a huge smile on her face as i break through the snow and hit the pavement with all four wheels spinning, a cloud of smoke pouring from the tires, and my 6 sliding sideways across 3 lanes of traffic :)

Washed the car, rotated the tires, changed the oil/filter, cleaned the CAI filter, bought and installed a new interior air filter today, needless to say, I am le tired.

no. the hood sits higher when its closed. as in, the gap in the seams is not as tight as i would like. the body of the hydraulic is squished between the hood and shock towers. i ended up hammering the area where the props touched the hood and now it sits more like stock. but not completely.

oh, and actually it opens up less. btw. you'll see what i mean. dont get me wrong i like em. but if i could do it over i would bother with them.

Finally installed my TWM Stage II the other day. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I like the shorter throws, but the reduced height feels funny. I keep hitting my thumb on the console when I shift into reverse. I'm sure I'll get used to it and love it, need to take it for a spirited drive to test.

I also did some minor repair to my diverter. I must have cracked it either coming out of a steep driveway or by nudging a curb. I don't know how you guys who are lowered survive daily driving. Here are a couple of pics from before I tightened it up to show the crack. I really just didn't want it hanging, catching on something, or flapping around. Once the nuts tightened the plates down it seemed good and secure, and they aren't obvious unless you actually look under the front lip. Just like a little band-aid!

Oh well I had a raccoon dash out in front of me on the highway at 3 a.m. going 50 mph. Took a chunk of the underbody cover and the air diverter out. Gotta get some gorilla glue and see if that will hold.

just bought the 35w 6000K H11 Raptor/6000k D2S bulbs from DDM today. I wish I was still in SD, so I could pick it up. Oh well. More projects! :D
