I would agree with you and Nate, had I actually been promoting my MSP for sale. I've put up five or six different FS threads over a couple of years, and certainly know the rules. But as Dub pointed out, I wasn't posting my car up for sale. I posted a recent pic in the Recent Pics thread; the rest was just a "by the way" to the friends I've made here. Its no different than the guy who posts in the "what have you done today" thread that he broke his LSD, and then remarks "I'm gonna sell this piece o' s***!". I read similar remarks two or three times a week, but have never seen a mod chastise them for not posting up a piece of paper with name & date...
Personally, I find it more offensive that a moderator on an all Mazda website has a Pontiac in his avatar...

I know that you know the rules, and you may have not meant any harm, but we have enough people who want to try to slip a FS ad in under the radar, posting in random threads, that we have to call it out when we see it. If you want to send a PM to your friends that's one thing. But posting up out in the open is advertising your sale. No two ways about it.

Lol, my avatar is actually making fun of a useless piece of pop culture crap. In this case, a song, the lyrics to which are, "I'm feeling so fly, like a G6." They were talking about a gulfstream jet, but it's funny to imagine they were writing a song about a Pontiac.
